Needs to probably be a dacron based string. The fastflite strings nowadays aren't good for recurves. Do you know what length you need? If so, you can probably find a recurve string of that length online.

Really??? Honestly, they are no more creepy to eat then shrimp or crabs. We used gig some real whoppers when I lived in Alabama. Nose to toes they averaged between 15 to 17inches long. Lots of meat on those dudes legs. We'd get them out of residential ponds. It was easier to get permission to gig than fish. The land owners around the ponds were really happy to get a good nights sleep after we removed a pile of loudmouthed big bullfrogs. I can't remember a time we didn't get fishing permission after gigging

Footware needs to be your first concern LaCrosse, Danner and Timberland make good hunting boots for mild weather hunting. If it gets below freezing where you hunt Sorel pac boots are by far my number one choice. Climbing stands are very difficult for some people. They are probably the safest option but if you can't climb with it, they are useless to you. Before you try one make sure you know how to use a safety harness. Buy big lightweight camo clothing you can layer underneath. With lower poundage bows, Muzzies are good heads. So are G5 Montecs, G5 Strykers, Razorcaps, Magnus Snuffers and NAP H ellRazors. Some broadheads will shoot better with your setup than others. So if you can borrow some heads and try them on a broadhead target before you buy a set. It's a good idea.

#6s are a huge step down in energy per pellet versus #4s. True you will put more holes in paper. #6s have 225 pellets per ounce #4s have 135 pellets per ounce So theoretically with the same weight load that's 66% more holes in the paper. But that's also 66% less energy per pellet. A single #4 has the potential to do 2/3s more damage than one #6. #5s have 170 pellets per ounce That's only a 26% difference. Inside 40yds #6s will kill turkeys effectively. Figure out how many pellets are in the load you are shooting. Then figure out which load is putting the highest percentage of it's pellets into a 10 inch circle at 40yds. If you just count holes you'll probably go with the smaller shot every time. If you compare the load percentages inside that circle you might decide that is a mistake

I had garter snakes for pets when I was twelve. Three of them had babies. Let's just say in a very short time I had over 100 snakes! Likelihood she only had two is way low. BTW, the babies are really babies. Completely harmless. Just pick them up and let them go somewhere near a creek. They don't need mama once they are born.

What do you call a broken escalator? Stairs!

My advice is go to an honest to goodness local nursery to buy your plants. Don't go to a retail store that sells plants. Tell them what your project is and that you honestly intend to buy from them. Ask if they can get you started with what you can do now and how to do it. In my experience the local nurseries know far better what can be planted now and what can't. Their plants are almost always much healthier too. You might pay more for the same plant at these places but to me it's worth it.

Most likely, unplugging the router and allowing it to reset it before booting up is all that's needed. Certain websites can be blocked by routers but it takes specific effort to do so.

In recent history, in presidential races. Governors are extremely strong candidates. Carter - Former Governor of Georgia Reagan - Former Governor of California Clinton - Former Governor of Arkansas G.W. Bush - Former Governor of Texas Palin has at least an 84% approval rating as Governor of Alaska. Highest of any Governor in the country. IMO, this makes Palin an incredibly strong choice regardless of gender. I agree and still expect Democrats to accuse Republicans of playing "me too" games. But I also expect they will have an incredibly difficult time discrediting Palin as a legitimate candidate.

Unplug the router. Let it sit for 1 full minute. Plug it back in. Wait 2 minutes. Then boot up your computer. If it doesn't work then. You may have some things blocked in the router.

Honestly, the bore snake is the simplest solution if you are really worried. If you are careful when you use the rod type, I never found a reason for concern. Just don't let the rod touch the rifling. It takes a lot more than the occasional "OOPS" to do any real serious damage.

IMO, used guns are like used cars. Better know what you are buying. You may indeed find a jewel looking at pawn shops, gun shows and local gun stores. But expect to look at a lot of JUNK too. Don't impulse buy anything. If it looks like a good deal but you really don't know, better be safe than sorry. A friend of mine recently found an Antonio Zoli O/U shotgun at a local gun seller for $250. He asked me, if that was a good deal? This particular model was worth $500 in just working shape. That kind of find is GOLD! Be warned! You can get hooked on buying and selling guns!

No joke! All that fish had to do was sulk on the bottom and it was game over. The guy who handled the gaff is to be commended. You get ONLY one chance to boat a fish like that and that's it. Obviously, he did his part. Hope the lucky angler shares some of his winnings with him. That fish may indeed be big money.

Websites can also be blocked with a router. Try plugging directly into the modem.

Serrated heads are not legal everywhere. So make sure before you decide to go that route. 100gr heads are capable of taking black bear but the 125s do have an advantage when striking bone. A bears rib bones are more substantial than that of a whitetail.

Clinton was from Arkansas. Same swing state comments were made of him. Alaska has lots of oil. Palin wants to help us get it. She's married to a commercial fisherman, in a state that prides itself on it's game and fish resources.

Watch the video on this site folks. She'll get my vote for sure. http://palinforvp.blogspot.com/

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be McCain's running mate? I'm seriously hopeful. I think she's an extremely solid choice.

Using the same setup only this time placing the target 90ft away (30yds) instead of 10yds. The length of the angle distance comes out to 92.2ft. That's an error of less than one yard.

Atlanta's rush hour traffic is like being in the biggest parking lot in the Southeast! Be safe Randy!

Dang! A fish bigger than me! What a whopper!

I can't give you a specific answer. Too many variables. And in a nutshell that's the problem. Too many variables. Mounting the scope higher doesn't usually change how well the rifle shoots (unless it's a big scope that's torquing the receiver) but it does in general affect how well you can shoot it. Getting a consistent cheek weld, same place every time is a key point in shooting the gun as well as it can be shot. This is your "anchor point" and it is important. High mounts make this tough to do. With practice you can make it work and do ok. But, you will improve your consistency (less "fliers") if you drop the scope and concentrate on repeating your cheek weld exactly the same.

The STS system is NO JOKE! It really works, but like anything that's effective in archery you do have to spend some time setting it up right. On my bow putting string silencers on with the STS actually makes the bow noticeably louder. Makes sense when you think about it. Extra weight on the string is more energy the STS has to absorb. However, this isn't true for some reason with every setup. So don't totally discount the string silencers just yet. Also rubber tubing style peeps can be very noisy. If you can eliminate that it will often help. I would for sure start with no string silencers. Then start with the STS just barely touching the string when it is at rest. Most bows work best like that, but you can put a little pressure on it to see if it improves. IMO, the STS can really shine when a good dampening stabilizer is used with it. I use a fluid filled Tru-Glo but there are others available. Keep in mind when sticking on Limbsavers. The adhesive in the tape really needs a full 24hrs to cure. You shouldn't try shooting a bow with limbsavers on for at least 24hrs after install. Plenty of folks do and get away with it, but I promise you they aren't stuck nearly as good as they could be. Good luck.

I expect you may be disappointed if you discard the Muzzy Zero Effect rest, if it is set up correctly. Set up right that rest is practically foolproof. The Montec Heads which I've killed quite a few things with, work very well and are quite durable. You will get shorter bloodtrails with Rocket Sidewinders and Stricknines. But you shouldn't expect to kill multiple animals with the same head using expandables versus fixed montecs. You can resharpen and reuse the montecs several times, expandables don't seem to hold up the same. The Rocket heads really do some damage and penetrate extremely well. If you want the shortest possible follow up, I'm convinced they are the way to go. I agree you should look at the Spot Hogg sites. I've been looking at them real hard myself and a couple friends use them. They make high quality super tough stuff. No joke. I am also very happy with Blazers. They look funny at first but a few shots at the range will convince you they work superbly.

You will not get the best accuracy your rifle is capable of with see through mounts. You should mount scopes as low as possible on a rifle and that will be lower than you can see through. That's the truth. If you really want the option of using your iron sights get quick release rings.
