  1. Looks great. Check out my site for a cool way to display them. www.euromounter.com
  2. Check out a cool way to hang them @www.euromounter.com Congrats on a great job. Just soak them in water & dish detergent for a week, rinse, let dry & clear coat them with a clear matt spray. That will keep them from turning yellow & absorbing any stains from the air etc...
  3. Congrats, it looks great. Glad you got him home.
  4. We never got a chance @ a moose but thought I'd share some pics of my stand & what I could see from it. Also some pics of Moose camp with my Dad & good friend Eric.
  5. Got a few pics on the trail cam that I had set out in Sept in my moose area. I had areal nice pic of a Big Bull Moose but accidently erased it. But did manage to save some wolf pics. The time & date are wrong as usuall.lol. Last day there were fresh tracks all the way in through the snow. Prob this guy again making his rounds.

    Bison Euro

Here is a pic of a Bison Euro I just finished, minus the horn caps. This is a huge tip I learned from a friend. Take the horn caps off & cut the cores short. The skull will then fit in a tub easier for boiling. Also the horn cores are some what hollow & hold some flesh. It makes it a whole lot easier to clean out. When finished fasten them back on with bondo.
  16. I do strictly European Mounts or antler plaque mounts for friends & family. I spent a few years perfecting it on my own animals. I have had friends try it full time & part time that did very good work but couldnt make it work. Good luck & dont ever give up your dreams & dont ever let any one tell you that you cant do it.
  17. They look fine. Congrats to you both on some nice trophies. If you want a better way to hang them & display them check out my web link below for the system I invented.
  18. Wicked, glad you had the kids out with ya. I bet they were pumped up!. Congrats on an awsome find.
  19. Im putting this in the lounge seeing we didnt catch any fish, lol. Mrs. Sasksheds & I spent some R & R up north In Saskatchewan @ our little place. The fishing was POOR to say the least but we enjoyed the camp critters & relaxation. My ankle is still to swollen to put a sock or boot on so I had to sit & get spoiled once again by the Mrs. It was cold on the lake so I wrapped it up in a blanket.lol. Hope you enjoy the pics. This is, "Socks", can you see why we call him that? lol
  20. Wicked looking mount. Looks like they did a great job. Awsome wt patch on him.If I ever go here in Sask. I'll get him done like that. Did you keep the skull & have it done? Check out my web link below to see my bracket & a cool way to display European Mounts & skulls. Again congrats on a real trophy.
  21. We made it up to the lake on the weekend for some relaxing & some fishing. With the ankle Im still spending most of my time on my butt. So Mrs. Sasksheds gathered up all or sheds laying around the yard & gave me the some to tie string around. Then she hung them from the wood shelter, the light pole & the out house. We now have a "WOOD SHED!" & a "SHED HOUSE".
  22. Here are some pics of the more unique sets that we found this year. The ankle is coming along but sucks to be inside & on crutches. Hope you enjoy the pics. From the front From the back
  23. Nice base on that bone.Congrats.
  24. Here is another European Mount I did for a Buddy on my "Euro Mounter", bracket. Also a plaque mount I did for another friend. He made the awsome looking plaque. I should have taken a before & after pic of the mule deer. I had to stain the antlers to get the color back. They were almost white. Turned out all right I think.
  25. Hats off to you. I dont think I'd have the courage or patience to even try. Maybe some day, prob. be alot of fun. Like anything you got to start some where. They look good & with more experience you'll be a pro in no time. Keep it up.
