  1. Very Interesting...Thanks Joe!!! If you run the time lapse on Legends Field in Tampa, FL. you can see where the lows spots are at Short Stop and Second Base from the rain lately...lol
  2. A few guided Hog hunts on private land while I lived in Florida in the late 90's but nothing since then.
  3. Looks like it was the roof of a parking area with the railings around the outside...maybe the right rear fell through and collapsed a drain grate down to the next level???
  4. Beautiful...seen a few birds around here lately and they all are puffed up but no strutters.
  5. Like others have said the fake cutaways definitely turn me, and the TV, off. We know the camera is not outside the ground blind and we're not watching the actual drawing and shot of the bow...when the deer is @ 15 yds. looking in your direction. Another definite dislike is the constant bickering/jousting between co-hosts/spouses. Likes are great camera footage(heartland bowhunter) and family interaction(family traditions w/haley heath). With real emotion(fred eichler). Involving the viewer by having them send in their name to be selected for a future hunt, in their area, on each show would probably never happen but it would be very interesting to watch how those shows turned out!
  6. Same here...A few Bugs in the system yet.
  7. I dont believe you can match the savings in a local store that you can now find online. This would be the first stop I make when looking for a new climber: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/search/search.aspx?r=MainHeader+KW+Box&s=&a=browse&k=Climbing+Treestand
  8. What you can buy in stores is no match to what you can find online anymore. With resources like thefind.com you can find the least expensive in our area. There are others without storefronts(the sportsmans guide.com, etc...) you can compare whats availible in features and price to get what you need on the budget you have. Factoring in the shipping cost you can still find many of the stands less expensive than are availible at the local store...unless of course they are having an "After Season" sale where they are just trying to get rid of inventory and you luck out before someone buys them all. Here's just one of many examples I could give you of a good quality manufactured treestand at a decent price when purchased online: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/big-game-the-boss-lite-hang-on-tree-stand.aspx?a=686924

Get a small laser pointer and tape it to your bows riser or sight. Gauranteed to help keep you more on target...relaxation will do the rest.

    Would You?

Send it to where they want...after you have the money in your hands. If you including shipping costs in your asking price your covered. If not then ship it to a U.S. address only(Oklahoma) to reduce your costs. Selling anything I always waited until the checked cleared or I verified the funds were in my account....then it was off to the post office.
  13. Congrats on the New Dog/Hunting Partner Here's a pic of my spoiled rotten brat we rescued from a local shelter...LOL

  22. Honestly my QAD Ultra Rest with the felt like shelf liner cut out is super quiet. I actually changed to this rest from a Zero Effect because of the noise it would occasionally make when an arrow bounced a little. I have shot WB rests before and even though I personally do not like them I did find a couple things to quiet them down. The first thing was if it was cold out was to rotate the arrow around so it would move the bristles around and break up any ice or snow buildup. I also wrapped the rest brackets in shelf liner to deaden the sound. The best thing that helped that rest be quieter was serving the bowstring so the nocks were firm on the string. I'm not sure why that helped so much but it did so I'm passing it on. I think it had something to do with keeping vibration down to a minimum. I'm not sure I just kept trying stuff until it worked or it noticeably cost me in speed or accuracy.
