The fiberoptic's lamp base got unplugged, along with the top "tree" portion put back into the box, and taken out to the garage a couple days(maybe the 28-29th) after Christmas.

True alot has happened over the time we all have been here. I know some of my time does not show as a couple of my forum names did not make it through a tough time for a friend who needed a boost of support and forum upgrades/changes. It does not matter though whats important to each and everyone of us will remain. I remember sitting for long periods of time looking at that picture of a treestand, swamp, and listening to that noisey crow on some young buck's website. At the time I was living in Florida and had actually seen places that looked similar so it would take me back there to relive hunts. Many reasons for people to enjoy this place and every one of them revolve around how well we treat our fellow forum members. LOL...I know...there are a few who when they read that thought about dropping a few others down into that well. The point is to treat people the way you want treated...You may very well be in that proverbial Well with them someday. You could either be in the Twilight Zone with your worst enemy or searching for a Water Source to put in a Food Plot together:yes:

I dont remember the very first show but I'm fairly sure that I've seen them all through reruns. I was 2 when that show started but my Dad used that show to begin my hunting experiences. He taught me shot selection and asked me questions about why they were doing stuff or what they did wrong. It was back when if you got asked a question about something you had to hurry with the answer because there was no pause button or DVR to rewind! I sat on his lap and learned enough watching that show he finally let me tag along out in the field and carry their dead pheasants and rabbits. I got to carry a bb-gun but was not allowed to carry bb's for awhile until I could show I would not swing on a bird into the line. Remember being sad when Marlin Perkins was not going out into the field much anymore and just narrating the show in a suit. Steve, Curt Gowdy is why I tie Trout Flys to this day!

Have not seen stacking like that but remembered hearing why Seasoned Wood was better to burn and it has to do with Creosote build up. While I was a Chef at Turning Stone I cooked a Grilled Cheese Sandwich for a kid. He made the effort to come up and ask me for what he wanted and was escorted by his Father. It was fun and I hand delivered the plate to the table directly to the young man. Later found out he was the son of one of the band members of a visiting star... *large* dollar amount tip

I geuss some people dont care if the person Trusts you. When Trust is valued by you deeply, and your friends can always depend on you telling them the truth, and living life is less stressful not having to remember what you lied about... No. Have I lied in the past...sure have...Santa lived for a long time. There were other things too...but I've got to the point in my life where if I have to lie to you to preserve your feelings, or for any other reason, I believe that would be enabling you to live in a fantasy world! That does not mean there is no place for being "Tactful"...sometimes it's the right situation to keep your mouth shut.
