  1. Grubby and I sold our 19' travel trailer a few weeks back. Am looking for a 24' in reasonable good condition. Probably 1983-1993 yrs would fit our meagre budget. Email me/send fotos if you know one within 750 miles of Pueblo.
  2. Re: Jim Zumbo to appear on TV soon Ubet, Ive always liked the guy and hi shows. Am still reeling from his stupidly constructed remarks about 'terrorist' guns.
  3. Re: Jim Zumbo\'s anti comments!! Wheres Zum at now? Still at ted's gettin re-ed???
  4. Re: Email Scam [ QUOTE ] lots of scams out there. if any thing you buy, even on ebay, wants you to pay by western union, kiss your money goodby.. [/ QUOTE ] ...thats right never give anyone any info. And if you get and ad from Beilgaard for an new style elk call dont open it. ROFLMAO
  5. Re: Local Walmart possibly hooked up with Antigunners That ATF story is bullsht. Walmart mangement began pulling guns form shelves 6 months ago in anticipation of Billary Klinton's election. ATF aint got nothin to do with it. I stopped shopping SEARS and KMART many yrs ago when they went anti-gun pro- fatlez. Walmart's next on my list of places NOT to go. If they wanna lay down with Rosie Odonnell they can get up with empty pockets. I'll buy from mom and pop stores. As a note I took my truck to Walmart for oil change and grease job 26.95 last monday . Paid cash. They never greased it. They are scammers is all. This has happend to me before also at other Wamart stores. Ten yrs ago Walmart had American flags in their supercenters and promoted American products. Now it all comes from the RED CHINESE ( yeah they're STILL COMMIES).
  6. Re: Jim Zumbo\'s anti comments!! After 3 formal apologies, Jim looks GREAT behind the stock of Ted's pink/black striped AR15. The resurrection continues. GO TED !!!
  7. Re: B&C record book.......I made it!!!! A big congrats making the book. I am glad to see PA bears making as they are the largest black bears in North America. Congrats again.
  8. Re: Jim Zumbo\'s anti comments!! I am happy to report that Ted Nugent is supervising Jim Zumbo's successful re-education and that Zumbo may appear with the Tedster onstage at the NRA convention in April. The best teacher teaching the best writer. What a combo. Perhaps Zummy will be resurrected after all. My prayers go out to both.
  9. Re: Best meal at hunting camp BearKaBob eaten at Elkatraz1.(prepared by RL Gray chief Chevy Service Manager and some time hunting guide now in AZ)
  10. Re: High MOOSE I think this is the most awesome foto I have ever seen. I'd think it was fake if it wasn't from my good friend Buckee.
  11. Re: Jim Zumbo\'s anti comments!! Gee Zumbo this thing went to page TWO already. Y'all must be watching NASCAR...
  12. Re: Jim Zumbo\'s anti comments!! This sorta reminds me of the big US Outfitters stink of a few years ago. Realtree Corp remembers that I am sure. The whole thing is sad form the standpoint that like JimZum or not a few words made all the diff in his life. Maybe the Tedster can resurrect him and show Zummy how to go FULL AUTO.
  13. Re: Africa Leo's Africa DVD is awesome, everyone otto go if they can some time intheir lives. [ QUOTE ] Have a feeling this will get moved from the Turkey Hunting forum. But to answer your question. Yes, I do. I want to go back! [/ QUOTE ]
  14. When we had the 'Great RT Colo Elk Hunt' last yr we never stopped long enough for a group foto of all of us. I really regret that. Do yourselves a favor, if you take the time to really meet up and hunt and hang out...take a group foto.
  15. Re: It\'s sad that many of us.......(i.e. Zumbo) Actually this is no diff than all the archers who dominate every hunting website while we rifle hunters are looked on with disdain. No one wants to make room for others who have a diff view of 'their' sport. And celebs like Zumbo and the Dixie Chix dont know when to publickly stop expressing their opine. OSrry to see thing go this way. I liked Jim's writing, tho he was nor never will be a Jack O'Connor...
  16. Re: Jim Zumbo\'s anti comments!! I cant get the article to pen, but I just saw that Rem Arms Co has cut all ties with Jim Zumbo. Once again a respected person has run their mouth too much ( re: the Dixie Chix ). We all have opines, but celebs otto not always express themselves so often I guess.

    Farmer's Almanac

Re: Farmer\'s Almanac I OFA is the best for all planting, agriculture, hunting, and life. Another good one is Baer's if you live in PA. For huntign and fishing times look up John Alden Knight's Solunar Tables the oldest published guide of that sort and another fine PA creation.
  18. Re: Lutefisk Recipe [ QUOTE ] You would have to soak that stuff for several days to get the lye and brin out! Man was that some good stuff!! [/ QUOTE ] Grandma would soak it in lye for several days in a long pan that fit under her sofa. Then she would do whatever to cook it. Maybe the good ol days aint over. ANd Andrea, ya gotta be Scandi to understand lutefisk, kjutebullars, and Swedish meatballs. LOL
  19. Re: for Steve B in Wyo I still owe ya one for NEW style elk call you had me try...
  20. 10,000 Swede got lost in the weeds at the battle of Copenhagen. 10,000 Swedes came out of the weeds chased by 1 Norwegian. Have a great day my friend.
  21. Lutefisk (dried cod treated with lye) must surely be the strangest culinary effort credited to the Norwegians, but what a treat when prepared properly. Everyone of course is not a devotee of lutefisk, but those who are defend it vehemently. Others go to the opposite extreme and claim it's a national disgrace. In years past, the homemaker had to go through the complicated task of treating the dry fish with lye, but now, even in America, frozen lutefisk is readily available at selected fish markets and at Scandinavian delicatessens. Cooking lutefisk the old fashioned way: Do not cook in aluminum vessels as it will darken the kettle. Use three level tablespoons salt to each quart water. Bring water to boil, add salt and return to boil. Add fish which has been sliced into serving pieces and again return to boil, then remove from the heat. Skim, and let fish steep for 5 to 10 minutes depending on thickness. Serve at once. Without adding water: Put the serving pieces of lutefisk in a kettle, season each pound (450 g) of fish with 1/2 tablespoon of salt and place over low heat. This allows the water to be "drawn" out. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Let steep 5 to 10 minutes. Serve at once. Baking in foil: Heat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Skin side down, arrange lutefisk on a sheet of double aluminum foil and season with salt. Wrap foil tightly about fish and place on rack in a large pan and bake 20 minutes. Cut corner from foil and drain out excess water. Serve at once. Lutefisk with a firm texture can be obtained by first sprinkling with coarse salt and allowing to stand several hours. Rinse well in cold running water, and soak in unsalted water. Then cook or bake as desired. Lutefisk must be served hot on piping hot plates. Accompaniments vary from bacon or pork drippings, white sauce, mustard sauce, or melted butter which seems to remain a favorite. Boiled and steamed potatoes, stewed whole, dry green peas are a must as a vegetable accompaniment. The only other necessary additions are freshly ground pepper, lefse, or flatbread. In some parts of Northern Norway, lutefisk is served with melted goat cheese.
