  1. Re: good or bad season????????? We had a very good season on duck numbers in North Texas.... But that can always change from year to year....
  2. Re: Green Wing Teal Pic Congrats on the Box pic! My photo is not that good, just old... I have not seen many duck hunting pics on thier remington access. gear so that is way cool... Do you like the new Remington Auto loader, (105) ??? It looked great at the shot show... Very light, balanced, ect... Hard to believe we shoot similar Brand smoke polls! lol.....
  3. Re: North Texas is ready for spring gobblers! I agree on the snake boots for Texas Spring Turkey hunting... We had two very close calls last season in Truscott... Both times the hunters nearly walked right into a coiled land mind.... so to speak... This season I got me some "17 Rocky snake boots.....
  4. Re: the 2006 line of buck knives not yet, but I am a huge Buck knife fan...! Here is a review I did on my three favorite Buck Knives from last year....
  5. My Dad and his '05 Gobbler... Over the years, Dad has gotten very good at Turkey hunting... He also Guides a few Turkey Hunters for us....
  6. Re: Green Wing Teal Pic J.J. ouch you guys got your point across on the fudge deal,... There were 4 hunters on that shoot, my brother was not biting a duck head, he was posing a pic that pooked fun at a long time duck hunting idol of ours.... The image was of he and I together, hunting our favorite N.TX location. As we have hunted it for over ten years... He (My Brother) had no idea I posted that image until the storm developed. For a guy who killed close to 300 ducks last season, I am surprised you brought up that in this forum. Heck you have even hunted with my brother... After promoting Truscott's hunting on two TV shows and about 11 published magazines, over the last six years, I surely will not stop promoting the place. The local residents up there look forward to what little extra income they can earn from hunting. -I will face any one of you guys alone and in person to address this issue. Hunting is about much more than burning a secret public duck hole location. While the 270 ducks U harvested in a single season is a huge accomplishent, one of the guys who took that pic and hunted with us , a full time waterfowl guide, finished with just over 500 ducks.. I am done w/ the fudge, but will certainly think of you guys when I travel to Argentina this May for Duck and Dove Hunting in South America. Dude you got 14 posts and just joined this board, I have 152 and been sharing hunting pics here since may of 2004. Go back to the Fudge board, folks here at realtree have much more class... And this pic of mine had 1600 views since '04, at realtree.. Do you have any that popular???
  7. Re: New 4 Wheeler dang that looks like fun....

  15. In an effort to promote www.txdovehunt.com and North Texas as a premier Hunting Desination, we hosted Benelli's American Bird Hunter TV show for Dove-Goose-Quail hunting in Truscott, Vernon, Benjamin & Seymour. (last season) As a long time fan of the show and Host Dave Gruber "The General", it was an exciting project to complete. If you have the Outdoor Chanel the show times are listed on our website home page. The show title is " Texas Triple Play" which features over 5 days of hunting North Texas with some excellent Gun Dog work...............Benjamin & Seymour. (last season)

  17. Re: Team Broadheads-N-Bullets Just one more big buck teaser pic.... This friend of mine spent two weeks in the field with his bow in IL two years ago. He also owns and runs a duck decoy company.. If this contest had big prizes, I would have recruited him to our team... lol ...Have fun and hunt hard Team B-N-B!
  18. We had our best ever... Dove season in 7 years of offering affordable guided and unguided day dove hunts in N. Texas... Our harvest total w/ clients was over 7500 mourning doves with 15 bird per day limits... Some dove hunters filled thier limit in less than an hour during the season opening weekend! It was awesome....
