  3. now I know most folks have seen this post pic, but I just made contact with the original outfitters in Colorado..Look what they did with that huge shed pile in my picture.. Below is the newer photo, what cool idea... web page
  4. It was back in 1966 my Father hunted this ranch with his good budy. They flew from Ohio to Colorado. I just found out that the family members now run the ranch in CO. Here is thier website, very reasonable no frills outfitters...But man do they have some great hunting... Check out the Luark ranch...website pic from '66- It took a year for someone to find those old pics, cause I could no find the original outfitters information, last year.... As story comes full circle...Look for the website below.. web page

  11. Re: new product After one season, we should know if it is a gimick or decent product. I do not think I will carry it on my belt while dove hunting.... Could make a person look like fire marshall bill type: with too many gadgets...lol [image]http://txdovehunt.com/T-PostStepper_two_150[/image]
  12. Re: Michigans dove season is on hold !! Madness, in such a great State for outdoor fun. I had to move close to Mexico to get good hunting... lol
  13. Re: Who is ready for Dove Season? Sounds like a respectable kill zone!
  14. Re: Limiting the number of shells for waterfowl! I can see your pain, but man if you can not kill a limit of ducks with 25 rounds while hunting a public refuge, just start throwing rocks at them...lol, The shell limitation is very popular nationwide. We duck hunted it in California ,at public lands with good results. But then any increase in regulations makes things worse...
  15. Re: Season Opener (I know it\'s only June) That would be The Early Texas Teal season which starts exactly two weeks prioir to the Dove season end. We get both birds together for two weeks...
  16. Re: Full Equipment arsenal for a beginner Develop one hand made custom - mojo symbol, or good luck charm. Never wash your hunting jacket until the season is well over. Find a good luck ritual that works, and stay with it! Avoid expensive ammo and guns. You are well on your way to outdoor fun. And those .30-.30's are hard to beat for Deer... Also, maybe forget the gear and focus on the game. Where ya hunting, what are the regulations, can you scout it in the off season? Do you know anyone who has hunted the area?
  17. Came across this cool product, what do you folks think about it? We cross barb wire fences all dove and quail season.... T-Post stepper

  20. Re: A few pics from North Texas Thanks for the feedback! Until you try to take a few while hunting, it appears easy- that is until you get the pics back from the developer, then it becomes just good luck....
