Re: Mayor Nagin i agree w/ u preacherman. I totally believe that its their fault that they didn't leave and now they have to pay for their actions. I"m not sitting here blaming anyone for the actions. Personally i dont think ANYONE expected this to happen. Yes it was always a fear, but the city had dodged disaster so many other times i guess they figured luck was on their side again. Not anywhere in my post did i point the finger at who is to blame. If u read every other post on here everyone is arguing about who is pointing the fingerat at who. All of you who are blaming the mayor and gov(not saying who is right or wrong bc its not my decision to say) you yourself are pointing the finger. Just seems kind of hypercrtical to me..JMO

Re: YUCK........... The lake wasn't clean anyway. I think it was already pretty polluted. Thats the only place for it to be pumped inot. Def. dont want it goin on the river. I guess it'll eventually go into the gulf. I hope it doesnt destroy our coastal fishing. Pretty much the only solution, which just causes more problems. There's no way around this situation.

Re: Mayor Nagin with an open mind??? look where i'm from...i'm expriencing this first hand steve. i live here...There is no better facts then experience. My family and friends who are from new orleans who were there during the evacutaion will tell u that these ppl were given the opportunity to get on transportation vehicles to go to shelters. I stated my side just like everyone else has and ur gonna slash out at me saying i'm not opened minded. sorry for ruffling ur feathers buddy. If u think u can do a better job then the mayor and gov. then pack ur bags and move here and take care of these problems..i'm sure ur help will be greatly appreciated. This is not a perfect world, people make mistakes. I doubt u would like to be in their situation at the moment, who would? i'm sure its like nothin either u or i could ever imagine.

Re: Coon Pee or Not Coon Pee? I been using coon urine on my boots for the past 4 yrs and i believe it works. I had deer walk down the same trail i walk down and never affected them. JMO...i'm goin to keep using it

This afternoon i was shootin my bow and the little rubber peace that goes b/w my release in and my arrow (dont know the technical term for it) came off...guess it was just worn out. I was thinking about putting a string loop on instead but i wanna hear what u guys think about them? and if i do put one on how much do u think i'll have to adjust my sights if any? Bow season is right around the corner so i want to make the right decision....thanks, mathews
