  1. Granted BP should have had a plan ready for such a disaster but I blame the environmentalists for making us drill so far off shore. If we were allowed to drill closer that mess would have been plugged up a lot sooner.
  2. LOL!! I made one for my kids based on that model. Built it myself for less than half the price of that beast.
  3. Agreed! It's $4.07 here.
  4. Ahhhhh 1991 I just finished my first year of teaching. I resigned, took a year off from my teaching job to get my masters degree (required in NYS and no on-line classes back then). I had my heart torn out by a girl then later on I met my future wife on my second ever blind date. That fall I shot a big 7 point that was my biggest buck ever at that time.
  5. LOL Ken! Maybe they will let you push the button. :boxing:
  6. First off I have a handful really great friends that I have met here on the forums that I trust. If one of them needed a hand with something I would try to be there and help. And there are a few that I would come help even though I have not met them in person yet. For me Facebook is different than the forums. The forums are open discussion with mostly strangers. I don't allow just anyone to friend me on Facebook and any discussion and any discussion I have is with "my friends". I don't have time to sit down and write emails to all of my friends in order to keep in touch but Facebook allows me hear how they are doing. From my high school buddy who is struggling in Japan, to my former room mate in Dallas, facebook has kept me in touch with folks I have not seen or heard from in yeeeears. Facebook does not make me feel younger. It's a communication tool, that's all.

  10. I got this little do-dad from petco called a tick twister. Its the nuts if you don't have the patience to wait for a tick to back out. We keep one up to hunting camp.
  11. It could be worse. You could have your surgery during peak rut. Good luck and take it easy.
  12. Congratulations Canada!!!:clap::clap::clap: Hopefully you guys will see those oppressive gun laws abolished!
  13. I happened onto this. Top Stocks- MSN Money
  14. My condolences to you and your friends family.
  15. 90% of my deer are killed with my 30-30. I have been using the LeveRevolution bullets since they were released about 5-6 years ago. They are an awesome bullet.
  16. Yup! Anyone who lives in NY knows that uniting bowhunters in our state is next to impossible. There are those who don't little kids screwing up their own hunts and those who feel that a 12 year old cannot pull back a bow. It baffles my mind why anyone would want to keep kids out of the woods.
  17. I've heard this argument from others. I'm not sure how someone can compare arthritic seniors to a 12 year old. My 7 year old son is pulling back 30 pounds.
  18. Justice will be served and the battle will rage, This big dog will fight when you rattle his cage, You'll be sorry that you messed with the U. S. of A. Cause we'll put a boot in your ***, it's the American way!
  19. Thanks everyone. I got some Rawlings glove oil at Walmart. This stuff is VERY thin, it seems more like water than oil but I will give it a try. Will I need to apply several coats?
