If it were me, I would contact the regional DEC office. Find out some names of farmers who are getting crop damage and approach them so they know who you are. No guide fees with this hunt, just the price of fuel, food, and a motel room. I have been itching to give this a try sometime. If you need someone to ride shotgun just shoot me a PM and I will help with the research.
