  1. They called me. Must be a teacher thing?
  2. I'm getting a red X Luke.
  3. I'm going to build my first bow rack for my new Hoyt. This is where I'm going to hang it up in the off season. I plan to hang the bow horizontal. When on the hooks, is ok to hang the bow from the string or should I hang it from the limbs?
  4. Congratulations guys! :toot:
  5. After looking at the pic I have a couple questions. How are the ping pong balls held in place? They don't look like they are pinched between the chicken wire. If someone hits a ball is another one put in its place? I would rather shoot at the original 10 or so ping pong balls than the 2 or 3 left over. Yeah I would give it a try.
  6. Don't knock it until you've tried them Shaun! I tried some when I was in Texas years ago. They are mighty tasty!!
  7. Our school hasn't used 6 days in the last 4 years. You will be cutting into summer vacation soon.
  8. But the ecomony is is improving because Americans are drinking more latte's! That's what the internet told me. I'm still waiting for this recovery myself??
  9. I want to give some A+++++++ feedback for Chrud. I bought an Under Armor sweatshirt from him. Thanks Matt!
  10. Lynn, if we get a little more snow melt, I will stop by and get a pic and post it for you.
  11. I used to be a state trapper. Made a ton of money this time of year on skunks. Take a hotdog and stab it with a fork a few times. Now drop it in a sandwich bag with some pickle juice or white vinegar . Use it it for trap bait. You will have him in the trap in no time. When you catch him throw an old blanket over the trap. He will not spray what he cannot see. Then throw him in a river. If you try to release him, he may not want to walk out of the trap.
  12. I just switched over to the Hunters in December. I like them.
  13. I know how excited you must feel. You sound like me when I was shopping for a new bow last year. Be sure to check out the Diamond line-up as well. Also if at all possible, find out if you have an Elite dealer near you. I was really impressed with these bows when I tried them out last year. Did you look at the bows at Gander Mountain when you were there? My GM has some awesome deals on some of the 2010 Diamonds.
  14. Nut Job first class However, some good did come out of this Tom. You did provide us with some awesome photochop material. Hee-hee-hee!
  15. I don't carry on a daily basis because I teach and I cannot have guns at school. But If I go to Syracuse or the mall here, I carry a .38 special derringer.
  16. I use the High Mountain seasonings for my jerky and I have found they work better in a dry smoker. Be sure to spin the rack in the smoker every 15-20 minutes for even cooking. And like the others have said, keep your temps low. Crack the lid if you have to.
  17. Happy birthday to the sharpest guy on the forums! Cheers my friend!:wine:
  18. :jaw: I'm packing my bags and I'm on my way!
  19. So I have some business to do near the border. So I says to myself, "Self, you need to call up your old buddy Joe and see if he is available for lunch". It just so happens I managed to catch him not doing a double shift so lunch was a go. I suggested it would be fun to try one of these pountine things that he and the other Canadians rave so much about. Heck, it's made with cheese curds, how can you wrong with that? I pull into Kingston about 11:30 and we walk to this little joints called Bubba's. We ordered two small pountine's and it was on. Just so you understand what I have below, I have french fries and cheese curds stuffed in a bowl, layered with super hot gravy. The hot gravy melts the cheese curds a little so you you have this ooey gooey heart attack in a bowl. It was DELICIOUS! :eat: In the epic battle that is Man versus Food. On this cold day in February, Man Won!!! Thanks for the great time and company Joe. See you again sometime!
  20. Neat story and gun! Thanks for sharing Ross.
