  1. Re: Tony Stewart This was posted by another beloved Kenseth fan. Yeah Kenseth said last year when he won Bristol that he wasn't very good at burnouts. Burnouts are great but s[inning in the grass is just as cool. That's is how earnhardt did it when he won the 500, right? I never said he couldn't. I was just confused by the statement above. Just remember the # of the uncompetitve driver I root for 20
  2. Re: Tony Stewart 600+ HP and a 4 speed and he can't do a good burnout Even Gordon learned to do a respectable burnout. Anyonre remember his first one
  3. Re: KENSETH BACK IN VICTORY LANE! [ QUOTE ] Kenseth has no flair IMO. He had no chance if Biffle and Stewart were still in it! [/ QUOTE ] I really hate to ruffle anymore feathers here but born2 I can't agree with you more. When they both went out I was pulling for Johnson all the way
  4. Re: KENSETH BACK IN VICTORY LANE! [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Even a blind squirrel will find an acorn now and then. [/ QUOTE ] What is that supposed to mean? Kenseth can't drive and got lucky? [/ QUOTE ] Glad to see Kenseth win! YES!!!!! And VERY HAPPY to see Stewart finish last! I guess its like I said in another post the fan grudge is heating up more now that the drivers grudges. You bad mouth my boy and I'm going to hammer yours right back. I know its all BS but lets let them race and let the best man win the championship. No matter who it is.

  6. Re: KENSETH BACK IN VICTORY LANE! The fact that Kenseth won was what really made it suck!!!
  7. Re: Tony Stewart [ QUOTE ] That made me so happy. Jimmie had a good run agian thats good also. Darn Gordon couldnt keep in the top 10 for 3 laps. [/ QUOTE ] Stewart out oh well . Bad, but it happens. Jimmie Johnson had a good run too bad he came in second to Kenseth. Gordon not in the top 10 who cares. Apparently Kenseth filled the air with enough smoke last weekend spinning around that he didn't want to do a victory burnout just play in the grass.
  8. Re: How\'d your driver do in the 500? [ QUOTE ] yea matt would have won it im sure! thanks alot tony! man i hope the 20 finds the wall this weekend! [/ QUOTE ] Sure Matt may have been a contender to win Daytona. I'm a Stewart fan. I didn't really like seeing what he did to Matt. I thought it was a pretty lousy display of sportmanship. Man you got to chill out a little wishing Tony into the wall next race is a really stupid statement. There's a long season ahead of us and the fan grudge is probrably more intense already than the drivers grudges. I say let them race and let Nascar keep them in line.
  9. Re: How\'d your driver do in the 500? [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] 5th, not bad for driving a banged up car and running over his jack. [/ QUOTE ] And for intentionally wrecking kenseth. Overall not bad by Stewart though, just being himself. California is coming up. [/ QUOTE ] Believe me I'm not condoning Stewarts driving style at Daytona this year. Matter of fact it kind of pisses me off too. Last year he ran pretty cool and collected, and won the championship with class. I'm hoping someone gives him a good talking to and gets him back on track because I've been a fan of his from the beginning. I'd really hate to jump ship. He's a good driver. Just can be a jerk at times.

  11. Re: NBC Stinks!!! The only good I see that NBC has over Fox is that NBC is broadcast in High Definition. Fox is still old analog not even digital in my area.
  12. Re: Tony Stewart did it again! [ QUOTE ] stewart sitting next race for sure if not two of them then we can see how much crying he does. [/ QUOTE ] Maybe in victory lane?
  13. Re: Tony Stewart did it again! Yep not too bad a top 5 finish for having such a tough day
  14. Re: Nascar News Break! Can you say? HOME DEPOT#20
  15. Re: Wooohoooo Race DAY!!!!!!!!! Yea, its been a long off season. I had my remote set last night to switch between Sabres hockey and the Bud Shootout. Man what a dissapointment to see the Shootout rained out. I hope its not raining at 4:30 this afternoon. Unfortunately I'm in the same boat today Bud Shootout at 4:30. Sabres Hockey at 5:00. How often does that happen back to back days. Go#20
  16. Re: Re-Loading? \"I need info,\" post. RCBS makes great equiptment that you will get many years of service with a little care. http://natchezss.com/product.cfm?content...7&src=ba207
  17. Re: sight removal omega Any gunsmiths near you? If so just ask he may sell you one or better yet give you one. The screws that you removed to mount your scope base will work in the rear sight holes. Just need the bigger screw for the front sight hole.
  18. Re: sight removal omega Any gunsmiths near you? If so just ask he may sell you one or better yet give you one. The screws that you removed to mount your scope base will work in the rear sight holes. Just need the bigger screw for the front sight hole. I'm not 100% positive but I believe the front screw may be an 8-40 bring the front sight screw with you and match it up.
  19. Re: Jim Shockey jumped ship to T/C ! Was knight a good rifle before Jim Shockey? I don't know as I have never owned one. I'm assuming it is a fine rifle and was before Jim Shockey's endorsements and will continue to be after he's gone. I've been shooting T/C products for over 20 years I know they are fine guns. Long before anyone ever heard of Jim Shockey. Will his endoresements make T/C a better gun I doubt it. Will T/C fall apart if and after he breaks with them I doubt it. Powders? Jim Shockeys Gold? Fancy name on American Pioneer Powder. I myself like APP and have good results with it and its predecessor Clean Shot. Will I run out and buy JS Gold I doubt it. Its all a marketing ploy. For those who have been around for a while know what they like and use, who endorses the product don't mean squat. To put a ?? celebrity?? on TV showcasing a product is there for one reason to hook the newbie. Even CVA has a celebrity touting their guns. He even sounds quite convincing in his ads. If I were a newbie to the sport I'd probrably think. Wow a $200 gun thats shoots as good as a $600 gun I got to have one of those. Not here!!. Slick advertising sells to the unaware.
  20. Re: Which priming tool for an Encore 209x50? Fingers always worked for me. Besides there's no chance of leaving your fingers in the accessory box back in the truck
  21. Re: New Encore owner questions The primer extractor is not really needed. Pull it out along with the hold down screw and put it away. I pulled mine four years ago and never had a problem inserting primers and never had one stick. The ability to pull the breech plug without the dissassmebly of the gun is an asset. As far as the E-Z Tip extractor I here its a waste of money they are poorly made and don't have a very long life span. All I can tell you is pull it and see what you think, then make your decision.
  22. Re: bullet deformation when loading T/C, Hornady, and Barnes all offer jag for pointed bullets I bought a couple marketed by Hornady for the SST's If I remember right they were only about $4.00.
  23. Re: Jerky Recipes? For ground venison I buy my spices from Wal-mart. Nesco American Harvest. Original flavor. Very tasty
  24. Re: Pursuit Pro problems [ QUOTE ] It is a problem, I was using federals and it was doing the same thing you would have to slam it shut a few times to get it to lock, I switched to the Kleanbores and it closed easy but they formed a crud ring so I switched back to the federals and I guess with the gun being shot a few times it broke in because it wasn't a issue anymore. One guy I know took each primer and "slammed" them a few times and put them back in the box so the next time he loaded they would close. Call Traditions they have a different breech plug they will sell you that will fix the problem they will also tell you which primers work best out of the one you have. They should just give us the right one with no charge in my opinion. [/ QUOTE ] Traditions says. They give you two options to solve their problem. Call them and they'll tell you what primers work in your gun with the finicky breechplug or just send us some money and we will sell you a new breechplug to take care of the problem. Slamming the gun closed on primers and putting them back in the box for future use doesn't seem to be a real good solution to the problem. There's also another reply where the shooter says if he don't slam the gun closed on a Winchester primer the gun opens when he fires it. That not an inconvenience thats a safety issue. I know how I'd fix that problem. I'd sell it and pickup a T/C Omega or Encore. I've used Winchester, Remngton and CCI primers in my Encore and never had a problem. Good luck
  25. Re: Grains vs Oz 437.5 grains =1 oz 7000 grains= 1pound
