Go the the local co-op and buy winter rye (if you can find it). I had to wait until Labor Day until if was available. Not sure if they still have any or if it's all sold. If you want some info on wheat vs. rye, I'll post a link to the QDMA forum.

It's a Ghost Blind Joe (link on the right of this forum). I followed the link from this forum to their site a couple of months ago, signed up for their free drawing, and was the October winner of one of their blinds. Biggest thing I've won in my life.

The big brown truck stopped by my house Monday evening and dropped off this. After a couple of days of rain I finally had the opportunity to open it. Unfolded and set up, here is the inside. Here it is sitting in the same location in my front yard, looking at the outside. And here it is in the middle of a cut corn field. I'm looking forward to trying this out in the woods tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll see some deer so I can see their reaction (or lack of reaction hopefully).

Thanks for taking us along with you into the stand Tim. It makes sitting at a desk a little more tolerable until we can get out there ourselves. And like others have stated, I like to see the human side of the "pros", and that they sometimes have their dry spells like the rest of us. Best of luck in Iowa.
