Re: $ 2.47 a Gallon!! Gas is up to around $2.50 here. I never could see paying $1 to buy a bottle of water.Only time I buy it is when I'm going camping.

It's to the point now that I really need to pay attention what we do on weekends just because it costs so much in gas.When you have to cancel vacations and trips because you can't afford gas it's way out of hand.Yet it seems gas corporations are making record profits.

I'll ride the dirt bike and 4 wheeler whenever I get the chance.I tukey hunt,but I can only get away for 1 weekend for that.This year I think I'm going to start fishing again.I haven't really done it much the last five or six years,but I really like fresh crappie or bluegill.I generally hate summer,so anything to make it go by faster works for me.

Re: Hank Williams Jr. (more problems) Sounds fishy to me. I've seen Hank Jr. in concert twice,and don't think I would take a young kid.I'm with Ranger Clay,it's not a family event.I had a blast both times,and would see him again. Dough boy is right though,his lifestyle will get the best of him someday. He is pretty recognizeable,and would make an easy target for something like this.

Re: Sibling rivalry My sister is 5 years younger than me,and we fought constantly.She always got her way and I always got in trouble.It kept up till I got in high school and kinda went my own way. Now we are just about as close as a brother and sister could be. I guess it's just kinda part of the deal.

Re: Favorite music? As far as country,I like the older stuff.George Strait and Hank Jr. are probably two of my favorites.I also like Hick Town by Jason Aldean. I listen to quite a bit of rock too.Metallica,Zeppelin,Red Hot Chili Peppers,Nickelback,just to name a few.

Re: DIRT IMCA MOD I was just joking about the #13.We have a few 13's at every race track we go to. Your right Lou,racers do have some crazy superstitions.I never could understand the "no peanuts in the pits." You guys are getting me excited about racin' season starting up now.Play day(test and tune) is this weekend at a few local tracks,but I've got family coming in town from Georgia so I'll have to miss it.

Re: any yall have lifted trucks? I've put a lift on every truck I've ever had. Right now I have a 2000 Dodge Ram with a mild 3" suspension lift and some 33's.It's actually the smallest truck I've ever owned. Looks like by fall I'll be selling it to get an extended cab pickup so I can haul the family around.

Re: True sign of spring I thought it was spring till I woke up to 4" of snow this morning.It hasn't snowed here since December, now we get some in the end of March. It did look like my grass was about ready to be cut though.

Re: $50,000 If it were up to me I would definately put it towards a down payment for the purchase of my own hunting paradise. But,if the wife has to know about it it would probably go towards getting her a Tahoe or a new house.

Re: Cindy & Chavez! DO NOT SUPPORT CITGO! MUST SEE! This guy is a worm! I buy all of my gas from Philips 66.I think thay are one of the few that use American crude to make the gas.

Re: Taxes and how did you fair? We got about $2,000 back.Somehow I managed to talk the wife into letting me get a dirt bike! She says she gets to spend next years refund,so I guess that's fair enough.
