Bow tech If you got a Hoyt tattoo i would say you made the right decision.Congrats on the new bow.I just bought a Liberty about a month ago,but only got to shoot it a few dozen times so far,but i have to say it sure is a sweet shooter.I couldn't make my mind up on a Liberty or a Viper tec,but i came across a deal on a 2004 Liberty so I'm gonna try it this year.Can't wait for October!

Re: 1 buck per year limit I wouldn't mind seeing a 1 buck limit for a few years.In a normal season i don't usually get more than one buck anyways,and usually fill my freezer with one or two does.We have the 2 buck rule in Illinois.If i got a nice buck early I would still hunt the rest of the season for some doe meat.

Re: still hunting deer I shot my first buck with a bow while still hunting a few years ago.A nice eight pointer.I was sneaking along the edge of a food plot during the rut and saw three bucks chasing a doe,so i grunted a few times and and used my estrous bleat can call and one of the bucks turned and walked right to the edge of the field at 20 yards.It is definately an exciting way to hunt.

Re: In-Laws Mine are so-so.I get along o.k. with my mother and father-in law,but not so good with my wifes brother.I don't feel bad about it because she doesn't really care for him either.They are not near as close as my family.My wife told me she feels closer with my family than her own.

Re: Thumbs-Up to NASCAR...Penalty Consistencies I don't think Johnson intentionally wrecked anybody.He slid up the track coming off the corner and tagged Burton.He should have been more patient,but that was typical Bristol racing.You can't fine someone for racing hard.I didn't get to see the Busch race,but it sounds like Sauter and Truex's wrecks were pretty intentional.I'll have to see what they show on SPEED tonight.
