  1. I came up empty last weekend.I've heard a few guys have found some, but the next few weeks should be prime time.
  2. Well VH,looks like the Bruins are out.I must say that they played a great series and were a handful for the Habs.
  3. Yea,it's a pretty weird feeling. My wife is a light sleeper and the one last night woke her up too. There've been a couple aftershocks in the 4.0 range, but I guess most have been too light to feel.
  4. I hope Isaac has a great birthday! They sure do grow up quick.
  5. Great to see he hasn't forgotten where he came from!He seems like a great guy from interviews and things i've seen on t.v.
  6. EARTHQUAKE?!:eek:It was a first for me.It woke the wife and I up at about 4:40 this morning. The news said it was a 5.4 and it was felt from Indianappolis to Chicago and the Quad cities.Talk about a weird feeling.:eek:It knocked a few things off the wall, but that was about it for us.I can't believe the kids slept through it. Anybody else feel the quake?
  7. I put a 50/50 mix of clover and chicory in a few weeks ago,and plan on broadcasting some beans for the first time in some other plots in May.
  8. I'm hoping it's not on it's way out.If I remember correctly it said the same thing on MOR before before it took a dump.
  9. Sweet!I joined a gym a few years ago,but with two little ones and working around 50hrs./week it's tough to find time to go.Two years ago I bought some free weights and a home gym and just work out in the basement.I do 45 minutes 5 days a week, but quit from October through January. My daughter had me some 1lb. dumbells ao she could "work out" with me.:DI didn't even no they made 1lb dumbells.:DI would like to get a treadmill and do some more cardio, but the funds aren't there yet.
  10. Sounds like a great weekend to plant!I had a weather break and put my mix in last weekend.I imagine you'll be getting the rains that we had yesterday.I believe we got about 3" or so out of it.
  11. For everybody that has the MAN channel...I get a "this channel will return at 8:30 p.m. eastern time" on it when I get home home from work in the afternoon.Anybody else having this problem? It's been going on all week for me.:confused:The channel is just blank and finally it comes on at 8:30.I flipped through the guide and apparently it stays off all day and only comes on at night.I hope it's not going to go off the air or it will be a long summer.
  12. I haven't really heard much about it.I'm sure the seeds are good quality and it looks like they have some good mixes. Our local farm store just started carrying the stuff a few weeks ago,but I already had my seeds bought for my spring plantings.I may try some out this fall.If you plant it let us know how it does for you!
  13. I'll still be shooting my '04 Bowtech Liberty.I was thinking of upgrading to a Tribute or Black Ice,but decided to shoot the old Liberty for one more year. By the way...welcome to the forums!
  14. Look great! We finally had a break in the weather and I got to go up and work some ground over the weekend too. We've had the wettest March on record here so it's been tough to get much done.
  15. Same here. From what I understand by the time a fawn looses it's spots it can live on its own.If it has spots then momma gets a pass, otherwise I'll take the shot.Around here I've seen very few fawns with spots in October when bow season starts.
  16. The local farm supply store in town here carries regular poast. The have an online store at ruralking.com.I beleiev it's around $20 for 8oz.Also check some online places for "Grass Getter".It says it's the same thing as poast.
  17. Sounds awesome!I've been itching to start getting some seed in the ground, but it's been raining here every other day and things are a muddy mess.I believe it was our wettest March on record.

    Horseradish

Same here!I worked on a horseradish farm for a while way back in high school. I like it,but never made my own.
  19. Holy cow!I bet it was fun getting that out of his hair. How do kids come up with this stuff?
  20. I figured you'de like that.:DIt's been quite a few years since a Canadien team took the Cup,and the Habs are looking good. The Blues gave the Preds a little playoff hope by giving up a three goal lead and losing in o.t. last night.Of course Toivenen was in goal for the Notes and this guy couldn't stop a beach ball.It hasn't been fun to watch the Blues the past few months,so I'm ready for some playoff hockey!
  21. That's bad news.I couldn't imagine a lifetime of memories gone so quickly. At least nobody got hurt.Prayers on the way for Steve and his family.
  22. Well, the Blues pretty much stunck up the ice since the all-star break. The first half of the season was great, but it's been downhill ever since. So who does everybody think will make it to the Cup final?Right now I'm thinking the Ducks and Devils, although I wouldn't mind seeing the Habs make it.
