  1. I've got an 06 Bowtech Allegiance 70lb. I believe it is 28" draw it might be 28.5" I can't remember but I know it is one of the two. It has the smooth mods. Mossy Oak obsession camo, normal camo wear around grip area. Bow is in good shape . Has Vapor Trail strings and cables on it. Set up with QAD ultra rest hunter series. Asking $375 obo. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
  2. Got a new Strothers Infinity for my birthday, finally got it set up and got to shoot it today. I'm really impressed with it. This is a new line if you haven't gotten a chance to check them out you should.
  3. I use the QAD Ultra Hunter series and it works really good. The thing I liked about it over the Ripcord was that you can let down and the rest stays up the Ripcord falls down. Not a big deal but I thought it was a benefit and the hunter series is also just $50.
  4. I got them about a month ago went the first week and really struggled with them, went back to the eye Dr. and she tried a different brand and it made a world of difference. I am still getting used to them but for the most part everything is going good. Good luck with them and if you are struggling with them you might try a different brand.
  5. I have done this experiment in the past in my garage. My 40 yard pin is dead on at a close range of 10' or so. Kind of fun to shoot at something that close.
  6. Have fun. I went down to Roaring River last weekend. Haven't been to Branson this year but my parents went a couple weekends ago and they said it was pretty busy already so stay off the strip and have a good time.
  7. Look at the QAD Ultra-Rest also. Works a lot like the ripcord, full containment. The think I like better about the QAD is that the rest will stay up on a let down. And also you can get the Hunter series for $50 so that helps too. I have one and really like it. Any of the rests above will be good though.
  8. Congrats on a nice bird. Love that picture!
  9. Congrats on a fine bird! I always enjoy reading your stories and seeing your pics. Seems to me you are a turkey hunting machine. Good Job
  10. I live in MO and it has been a tough season so far. Killed one opening morning and haven't had any luck the past two weekends.
  11. I hate armadillos I have killed 2 in my yard one with a 12 gauge and one with a steel rake. You can sneek up on them when they have there head away from you. I snuck up on him with the rake and hit him, busted a huge hole in his shell and he was spraying blood as he ran off into the timber. Armadillos can just destroy your yard digging all kinds of holes. Kill all of them as far as I'm concerned.
  12. Let me know all best offers as I will probably put on ebay tomorrow afternoon or Thurs. morning. Thanks guys. I would much rather sell here than have to deal with ebay. Thanks, Aaron
  13. Got this tom with my bow opening morning here in Missouri at about 7:15 shot him at 18 yards. The shot was a little low and let to a tough chore finding him, finally got him about 400 yards from where I shot him and about 3 hours of walking trying to find him but it just made it that much better when I finally got him. He came in with another tom and hen strutting and gobbling. There is some bad news though, he had double beards but the main beard was only about an 1-1/2" long looked like it had just been cut off, don't know what happened with that if anyone has any reasons why turkey beards do that let me know your thoughts. The second beard which is the one you can see is 9-1/2" long and pretty thin. The spurs were both 1-1/8" long and he weighed 25 pounds. Pretty happy with this bird.
  14. Parker Challenger bow. This is my wifes bow, she has recently upgraded to a Bowtech. This is a 30-40 lb. bow. It is set right now at 23" draw length, the draw length is adjustable with a module that you change out. You can get the modules from Parker I think. Not really sure what draw lengths you can adjust to with the modules. The person I bought it from said 22"-27" but I don't know that for sure. I have had this bow 1 year and bought it used. I put on a new custom string (green and brown), put on a new QAD ultra-rest hunter series drop away rest. It has a Cobra Fiber optic sight with 4 pins, I can't remember what model the sight is but was $25.00 new. This has the nice hardwood grip on it. The bow looks like brand new with nothing wrong with it. It shoots really good and is pretty quick for the draw length. It is a good looking bow with the string color and the bow camo and the wheel and cam on the bow are camo also. I am wanting $260 shipped in the lower 48 U.S. I'm planning on leaving it here for a day or two and then going to ebay if I don't get any interest. Please ask any questions I'm trying to be completely up front with the bow so nobody will be dissappointed and it will be a good deal for everyone involved. Let me know and I can email more pics if interested. Thank you, Aaron
  15. Re: Tough questions, even tougher answers Thanks guys for all of the comments. The best thing is that God is a always a great healer and that God also has a great love for children so I know the child is being well taken care of.
  16. Tough Question: Why does something so horrible happen. For some background information first. My wife and I have a some really good friends that we have been sharing the Lord with. They both never had any real background with Church so they didn't know much, which is really exciting to see them learn. We have been doing a Bible study with them and just really enjoy being around them. Recently some of there really good friends had a little boy (1-1/2 yrs. old) that got sick and died just this past week, a real shock. We haven't talked to them much since but I know what there question is going to be. How can God allow things like this to happen? I know it is just God's will and we don't always understand things, but what are some things to say to make it easier to understand for a person just getting to know God. I guess I'm looking for any suggestions on how to help them. Thank you for your help and prayers. Aaron
  17. Re: 140 Lives changed forever! Wow that is great. It will be amazing for you to get to watch your church family grow in the future.
  18. Re: Missouri Trip (pics) I live in the SW corner of MO, but went to Kahoka 2 years ago for deer hunting. You need to go deer hunt there! You are definately lucky to have a place to hunt up there we just hunted public land. Seemed like every piece of private land was leased by people from St. Louis for BIG money. Nice pictures
  19. Re: How many in Missouri?? I live in Joplin which is in the SW corner.
  20. Re: Looking for bow reviews I like the Bowtech line. I wouldn't let the comment above about Bowtech run you off from them, the fact is all bow companies can have problems with limbs as you are finding out. I shoot an 06 Allegiance, and have shot the Guardian it is very very quiet and shock free. I have heard good things about the Fred Bear lineup this year, might check that out, and you might check out the Diamond lineup. Good luck with whatever you decide and I think all bows that are being made now are pretty nice.
  21. Re: Lets see those Blazors Don't have pictures but mine are 2 neon green and 1 hot pink, my wifes is 2 hot pink and 1 neon green. Both look really good and the pink really stands out in the timber.

Re: bowtech I have an 06 Allegiance and I couldn't be happier with it, just feels right to me and they are quick, no shock, quiet. I am really looking forward to seeing a Guardian in person though, I would definately shoot both and the Tribute also. See which one you like the most.
  23. Re: Official Score of my \'06 buck now in That is one of the prettiest racked bucks I've seen congrats!!!
  24. Re: 06 allegiance shooters I have an allegiance with the QAD, but don't have the problem you are having. Sounds to me like something might be set up wrong. Are your vanes contacting the cables also? I took the clamp that comes with the rest off and just tied it into the down cable, but I don't think that would make any difference. You might post pics of the setup and see if something could be different. Sorry I couldn't help more.
