  3. Re: Wset Central IL gun season In Northwest IL we are having the same problem- scrapes will be very active for a few days and the game cameras will be full of pictures, then all at once nothing. One day bucks are chasing does, the next the are feeding together in the same field and nothing is going on. Your guess is as good as mine. Good luck on Friday everyone.

  13. I have a 366(might be 336, the book is packed away with e reloader) progressive loader for sale. My father bought this reloader about 5 years ago and reloaded maybe 30-50 boxes of shells. He passed away 4 years ago and I have had it since, but don't have a use for it. It is currently set up for 12g shells but I have all the parts to convert it to 20g also. I will include all of the shot and powder bushings, plus all the wads and lead shot I have. Asking $250 plus shipping. Let me know what you think.
  14. Re: Hornday Shotgun reloader Come on guys I know someone needs this thing more than I do, its sitting in a box for god sakes.

  17. Re: 25.06 load for antelope and mule deer I will be shooting the Sierra GameKing BTSP in 117 grain. Thanks for the help guys.
  18. Im going to Wyoming this year in October and have both an antelope and mule deer tag. I will be taking a Ruger 77 in 25.06 with a Lepould VX 1 3x9. I am shooting federal 117gr rounds sighted in dead on at 200 yrds. My question is this: I have no doubt that this load is enough for antelope, but is it big enough to handle a mulie? I know shot placement is key but sometimes your still shooting something to like. What does everyone think?

    My 2004 Mounts

Re: My 2004 Mounts nice mounts, but didnt anyone tell you that the Civil War ended around 140 some years ago?
  20. Re: Who all is from Northern Illinois? Elizabeth, IL here located on rt 20- 2.5 hours from Chicago. Jo Daviess county is one of IL's best kept big buck secret.
  21. Re: Sleeper Big Buck States??? If you look at well know states like Iowa, Illinios, Ohio, and Texas, there are some rather well known areas within those states. However there are many places within those states that most people don't know about. Jo Daviess county in IL for example, is a great place to hunt. I personally took a Pand Y this year on the family farm and my brother took a B and C with the muzzleloader. There were several BC bucks that were checking in during our gun season. And I know of at least 1 170+in buck that made it through last season, just a good thing he likes staying right in the middle of my family farm.
