I thought it was hard in college...Designing sites without a budget, making them as complex as i wanted, having fun desiging....Well now in the real world, i do not have multi million dollar budgets...try and make a college campus look good with a budget of 150,000$$ for all the landscape features....its pretty bleak and faceless...Ahh the good ole days of going to class hung over, sleeping on my drafting table, being woke up by my professors, lol.....Enjoy college...the working world sucks. The only good part is the regular paychecks....i guess working has its perks.

Not a pic....I lost a video, (forgot to push record button) of myself shooting black birds (english sparrow, starling...whatever) in my back yard, was shooting them with a .22 mag. I was shooting at one, but diagonal from him like 10 feet beyond him was another, i shot the bird closest to me and killed it, i am guessing the bullet bounced off a rock or the ground and hit the other bird in the head killing it as well. Noone believes me that it happened but i saw it with me own eyes.

I like my Mod. 700 Light Varmit SF in 22-250, i have smoked critters from crows to deer with it. I did a late season deer hunt, carried a few different bullets with me, got a fox with a 50gr. vmax, and an 8pt witn a 60 gr. nosler partition same evening. Wonderful gun.

Actually, a little book called Cabelas Fall Preview 2009 is lying beside my desk...got most of my ideas from it. And no, i put little trust on products that i see on TV. I tend to stick with being as simple as i can be when it comes to hunting. I would not buy a bow just because I saw it on TV, would shoot many first, and pick the one that fits me best. I work for an engineering company, and if we listened to every product slinging "Pitch Man' who tries to sell us something, we would be out of business long ago.

Personally, i have had zero problems with their sharpness, or their effectiveness on game.

IMO...Seeing big bucks is not what hunting is about, Hunting is about the experience, and i think the big personalities should very much push that as well as their big buck/product agenda. There could be a happy medium. I enjoy Team Fitzgerald because those guys love the experience, also they are product pushers (which i am not crazy about). Also i am glad that you fellers did not attack me because of my first post on this subject.

I am not trying to start a war on here but i gotta say that most of the hunting shows have turned into...dare I say it...Freak Shows. 90% of the shows are not realistic in my opinion, they hunt in dream locations and push products that do not work (for the most part) in normal hunting situations. Seems that hunting shows are more of a less controlled infomercial. The big hunting personalities have turned into low key Billy mays of the hunting world of products. Just love to hear it when someone shoots a ten point on a ranch that has a 160" minium, Well i could not have gotten this buck without my scentlock underwear, underarmour shirt, woolrich socks, danner boots, scent killer, cough sliencer, lone wolf treestand, leupold ARC rangefinder, mathews, easton, ford, toxonics, trophy taker, muzzy doinker, sim vib. lab, scott archery, glens deer handle, buck knives, little debby, foldgers coffee, mc donalds, sheetz gas station, middle valley ford, lincoln, mercury, blah, blah, blah by freggin blah. Does it not bother you guys to watch people like David Blanton and many of the rest of them sell out to hunting product companies?? I know the companies are what keep them going but come on, it gets a little redundant. I will prolly get a lifetime ban after that rant, but do realize that i still love to watch hunting shows, love the tv personalities, and all that. I just wish it were more realistic.

Goodnesss, the kid took a beer, OMG, some of the things i have done when i was younger....I would be banned from this site if i told them outloud....I turned out fine if I do say so myself. Better than stealing a car or arson or :laser: isn't it??

We have county smoking bans here in West Virginia, I absoultely love them, no smoking in public places such as restruants, clubs, bars and such. I could care less if they smoke at bars, i dont go to them but i do appriciate the smoke free atmosphere at restruantsk clubs, and other places.

Veteran here...if i were in a foreward operations area in any sort of a hot spot, i would not smoke. For many reasons, like at night the enemy can see your red glowing ember on your cig, the flash of your lighter can be seen easily, whenever we had PT...all the smokers were usually hackin and coughin at the back of the pack while running. I think it would be smart for guys and gals over there to ween themselvs off of cigs and tobacco before they go over there. Just my opinion, but there is no way the congress should be telling our vets over there that they cant smoke while fighting. I have seen some harry situations, would have like to had something to mellow me out a few times.

I have an arrow gripe....I have been shooting Easton Axis 400 since they came out years back, i like them, they work well for me and i have no complaints. Now i go back to the proshop to get 18 for this year, they do not sell them any more, i guess there is a new model of the arrow, i am not crazy about this because its essentially the same arrow with minor changes, but WAY MORE EXPENSIVE. I shot them out of my bow, they shoot the same, but for $30 more per dozen. Anyone have any any suggestions for new arrows for me?? I have looked at the beman's with the H.I.T technology, but i do not want to pay an arm and a leg, and i do not want to have to change my setup. Thanks.

I have the Badlands Super Day Pack, It is really nice for whitetail hunting here in West Virginia, can take extra clothes for after i hike in, keeps all my calls, knives, license, gps, radio, phone, etc organized and easy to get too. The only dislike (i use the word dislike very loosley) is the pockets on the hip pockets are sometimes cumbersom to get open when you have the pack on, it seems like the zipping direction should have been reversed when they designed it, but that is my only complaint. I use it to backpack in the Mon. National Forest, has enough space (if your clever) to support me for 3 days with all food, tent, sleeping bag, pad, jetboil, H2O purifer, etc. Have loaded mine down with 70 pounds of stuff to see if it would handle it, and it did, have strapped a 50 pound mineral block to it to hike in to one ofmy stands, but because it has no internal frame, i would not advise doing stuff like that. But all in all its a wonderful pack, and their warrenty is the best in the business. And the kevlar stitching is wicked durable.

12 and 8 pound flatheads....in the fridge as we speak. Caught both on 8 pound test line off of a concrete spillway thing, had an adventure pulling them up the 10 foot concrete thing, had to make a "hillbilly Gaff" was a good trip.

I like my Magnums...with an Ultra before them...Hence me demolishing whitetails with a 300 ULTRA magum, only black coffee will do, i even howl at the moon.

just a touch over 7 pounds on my boga grip scale, just over 22 inches. Caught out of a local lake while it was on the bed, i was catfishing from the bank, and kept seeing the water swirl beside us, looked over beside a log and saw the beast. Got my bait rod (6' UL St. Croix rod, with my shimano reel with 4lb fireline) tied on a brown jig, and put a tube on it (only stuff i really had to bass with) had to toss it in the bed maybe a dozen times and it kept gettin madder and madder until it ate it finally, i jumped in the water when i saw how big it was, mainly to keep it out of the weeds and stuff, after a few minute battle i got to put my hands on her. Had a belly full of eggs, snapped a few shots, put her back, and she instantly went back to the bed. Was freggin sweet.

Military style weapons is one DANGEROUS term....Remington 870 shotgun is a favorite for special forces in Iraq....Colt 1911 semi-automatic pistol....Remington Model 700 bolt action sniper rifles, Winchester model 70 bolt action sniper rifles, Remington model 40x sniper rifle, I know 100 % that the members on this board own one of more of these military style weapons...**** i own three of these. I am not gonna argue politics and policy from BHO, but when he throws the term Military Style Weapon around....that scares me....
