I recently picked up a CZ American model 452 in 22 WMR. Some of you may be wondering about why i chose 22 WMR...Well i have owned a few 17 HMR's in my day, and enjoyed them a bunch, but with the advancement of bullet technology, and the better built firearms we now have, I chose the 22 WMR. I have shot it nearly 80 times now from the looks of my ammo boxes, mostly paper shooting to tweek the scope 2 crows and 11 squirrels have fallen to the new Hornady 22 WMR 30 Gr. V-Max bullets. Most of the shots have been beyond 50 yds, the longest at just over 100 yds on a large fox squirrel, all head/shoulder shots. At a screeching 2200 FPS, IMO it rivals the 17hmr any day of the week. I like the knockdown it has as compared to the 17. They are both fine bullets but i chose mass over speed this time, i think i made the right choice. I am getting .6" groups at 100yds 3 shot groups. I have it sighted in 1" high at 100 yds. In the future i will float the barrel, pillar/glass bed the action within the walnut stock. I love the gun and would reccomend it to anyone looking for a fine small game rifle. Because i am on a limited budget, i chose to put a cheap Shooters Edge scope on the rifle, 3x9x40. Seems to be a great scope for 70 dollars. Here is one of my victims....

He liberated the people of Iraq from a ruthless dictator, has taken out over 2/3's of Al-quaeda's top ranking members, Found Saddam's hiding place, and has helped to thwart terrorism worldwide. We still have our second amendment...(for how long when BHO gets in office, god help us) Yeah, our gas prices got bad...not as bad as some other places, our economy is shot, our military is starting to be stretched thin...my question to you is....Could you do any better??

My dad is diehard 7MM Remington Mag, he shoots the 140 grain PSP Ultra on deer, he has been known to take them at ridiculous distances with astounding accuracy. He also has taken a Wild Boar that weighed 225 lbs with that same load, and an elk with the 160 grain swift a frame, shot his 345 inch utah elk at 275 yds, complete pass though lung shot. Hoped this helped!!

could it have been the primer sealant they use on those shells??

I dont think we will necessarily lose the Second Amendment, but he can sure make it a pain to own guns....Ammunition taxes, registration processes, firearm taxes, etc.

Welcome to the addiction. Time to start buying 25 dollar lures, rods that bend as easy as rebar, reels that look like car parts, line that can be used to rappel with....Goodness i cannot wait for spring for the thaw!!!!!

Do any of yall have one of these or have any experience with these?? I am looking to get one that is in a 7mm-08 stainless with a 2x7 pistol scope on it....Use it for deer, bear, and maybe a cat hunt or two. Any info??

If the weather is good we hang them until we skin them, hang then then process them ourselves. We have done so many it is not too much of a hassle anymore. We have gotten pretty good and quick at it.

I think you made the right decision by waiting and not pushing the deer. That should be a good enough amount of time, when you go back, be sure and be very cautious just in case you only got one lung, if he is still alive you may be able to back out and not spook him if indeed you only got one lung. Be patient and you will find him. Good luck!!

Okay...first of all...why in the world do you have a 55gal barrel as a septic tank...Secondly what law permits you to do that?? You should separate your gray water from that utilizing a french drain gray water is shower, sink, washer, etc. Black water like toilet should be put to the ole septic tank, i am not going tell you to do it like you did, but it would work..introduce a bacteria culture (rid-ex) to the "tank" then let the little guys do their work, at the top below your inflow (approximately a few inches lower) of black water, place an out flow pipe of perforated pipe on a gravel bed (at least 100' or pipe buried 18 inches depending on the water table, with at least 6 inches of gravel for drainage) to let the excess water percolate down into the soil. The solids should fall out into the "tank" and get processed by the bacteria...A plastic "tank" will work fine. I was a military style plumber for 6 years....I know a little about it, if you need any detail drawings let me know i can fix you up pretty quickly and easily. The two tank deal works in theory....but they tend to get clogged up pretty easily unless you are stacking them on top of each other...just fruit for thought.

I am not an Obama fan, i will be voting for McCain, but i just don't know why this even has any relevance to anything. I am in total dismay about it....why would he pardon OJ just because he (Obama) is half black?? I just don't understand why in the world that could or would ever even be thought of. So to answer the question, Even though i am not an Obama fan, i dont think he is so out of touch with reality that he would pardon a dirtbag like OJ.

I am currently in my last year of college finishing my BS in Landscape Architecture, i am excited to enter this crappy economy with that degree...its one of the fastest growing career with the least amount professionals entering the work force...Stats show that if the current trend continues there will not be enough Landscape Architects to fufill the market until 2040...i think i made a good decision. Now if i could change...would have been a Land Planner, then transitioned into a graduate program.

We have areas that are loaded with muskies....very large ones also...many 40+ pounders are caught each year down here.

Went muskie fishing today with my friend up here in morgantown, WV... Started off slow, very low and gin clear water. Spotted one muskie maybe 30 inches long, he was in shallow water near a deeper pool that was full of minnows, he would not take. Maybe 5 minutes later i was casting into about a foot of water, i could not see the features beneath the water due to the glare on the water, and whack!!! while fishing with a muskie lure this smallmouth hits...prolly 2.5 pounds and it measured 17 inches. To say i was suprised would be an understatement. Then like 45 minutes later i raised a small muskie, he followed my lure for about 5 feet then veered off and dissappered, a few casts later the other guy Dan i was fishing with catches the muskie...was a small one only about 23 or so inches but it was his first muskie ever...It was a good day to be out. We both took pics with the muskie so dont think i was tryin to steal his catch.

I got a good one for ya....Hope this makes you feel better. I am a senior Landscape Architecture major minoring in GIS. We start our senior designs next semister on the first day of classes, have 13 weeks to do...like 26 weeks worth of work, typically we do it in groups of 3, well...my group turned on me, ousted me and now i am going to do a totally new project by myself. I know what your feelin....not to mention the 30-40 pages of documentation that goes along with our project, plus the 20 plus pages of actual design elements, and the 5 or so pages of construction documents, calculations, and tables....just figured i would vent along with you.

You could use the 10 dollars off of a 10 dollar item that has a 10 dollar mark up, then it would only be 10 dollars.
