Re: where is good place to hunt turkeys in Alabama? hey huntn4bucks i have some hunting buddies that live in muscel shoal area. they have said they would take me aand my dad and broither hunting but can't get in touch with them. they all work at All Weather Wood if you're familiar with the company or know anyone who works there.

Re: Any Coaches out there?? wow that's pretty darn good!! i hit .360 my freshman year and then had a terrible year last year and batted .260 -268. i have heard of Emanuell. i still have 2 more years left that i can play. keep up the good work with your cousins!! they'll always remember special moments when they play ball outside with someone special. keep it up!!

Re: Waterfowl Mounts i have 2 wood duck and a drake GWT. me my dad and brother have about 5 or 6 at the taxidermy right now that are being mounted for all of us. we have mallards, ringnecks merganser, bluebill, and wood duck. they'll look sooooo gooood!! i' excited now that i just thought about them!!

hey i was just curious how many of y'all are coaches and what sport? i am a high school baseball coach. i've coached for 3 summers and this year is my first year as a full fledge coach. i am the JV and 9th grade coach and an assistant on varsity.

DURACOAT is the way to go!! i have had my deer rifle done and my dad and brother have had thier shotguns dipped as well. the people at duracoat do a really good job on your guns and the camo looks really nice as well. they are pretty reasonable on thier prices as well too.

Re: Calling Contests i maybe entering at a local outdoor store. i don't know just yet if i'll be entering or not. i am a baseball coach so i'll be on the field saturday for just about all day!!

I maybe entering a calling contest this coming saturday. this will be my very first contest. could you guys give me some input on some of your contest that you have competed in? like some sort of routine that you use ( fly down cackles, purrs, yelps, cuts) just give me some in fo on what calls to make and that sort of thing. thanks for your help!--- Jake

Re: PHEASANT HUNTING LIMIT there aren't any pheasants in GA that i know of only the pen raised birds that are put out before a hunt or the ones that come out of a tower during a high dollar pheasnt shoot.

Re: NWTF Convention in Nashville, TN YOu guys that will be going are in for a treat!! That hotel in awesome. i felt out of place the first time i went a couple of weeks ago. i went to a baseball convention. that place is soo fancy and with me being from the south and a country boy it just felt awkward. Also boys there is a BASS PRO right next door basically!!! have fun and safe traveling mercies for you all.

Re: Speeding ticket(err almost) i wish i could say that i have never gotten a ticket but... i have gotten 5 tickets and they range from $85-$113!! all the tickets were for speeding. here in GA if you get pulled over bye GSP or city police or sheriff then your getting nailed!!

Re: Choke and Turkey Load Help i would recommend using the Comp-n-choke or the kicks choke (Gobbling Thunder). i wouold also call comp-n-choke and ask for Charlie Boswell and tell him what load you are going to be shooting and he'll tell you what choke he preferrs out of your gun. He has given a local out door shop cheat sheet and it works out alot. me i shoot the GObbling Thunder .655 and shoot Win HV #6. they are deadly!! so call up charlie at comp-n-choke and he'll hook up!!--- Jake

Re: what do u wear i wear realtree hardwoods green and advantage timber during deer season and turkey season and just bought a turkey vest from curt that is HD, Max-4 during on dove hunts and max-4 duck hunting.
