I am so sick of the MN Vikings. I have stood by them since I was a kid... no matter what... I have lost all hope... any other state want to adopt me?

Re: Disappointing Hunt Atleast you got out.... If it was to easy and not challenging we wouldn't go back There is always next time

Re: picking a lab pup? Honest I would check temperment of both parents and as long as they have eye and hip certification I would think they would be a good dog. I have a pal who bought one for $100 and is the best hunter ever... it really depends on how much time you spend with them too.... I would do you research though... Good luck....

I always seem to take pictures of this babe when we hunt. She is going on 13 years old but still has a solid heart of gold when it comes to hunting.... I love watching her hunt and especially when she watches the ducks and geese fly... [image][/image] [image][/image]

Re: South Dakota I didn't measure the spurs on the longer one in the pic but I believe 2nd year or possible even 3rd year old... Black sharp shiny spurs... It got up right under my feet almost so I layed the smackdown on the bird at like 20 yards... the body took a little beating... I am trying to get a nice one to mount... I want to get one of those coffee tables with the inside mount with a little habitat

Re: Chai Vang found guilty on all counts.. Now since he has been found guilty they have had a psychologist working with him. I read that he said he grew up in a abusive home and had many suicidal thoughts before this horrible incident happened... I don't give a flying whooha where you come from or what you have experienced in your life... it is no excuse for tresspassing and then shooting an entire close knitted family and friends for no reason... You have to respect our laws if you are going to live in our country. Enough said... You can't just do whatever you want.. This entire situation makes me sick to my stomach and makes me really sad

It was pheasant opener in Minnesota and I went out to the southern western area of the state. I was sad that goose was closed in this area until the 20th but I saw probably about a total of 100,000 geese and I kid you not. Tons of Lesser's and Giants... It was music to my ears! The Migration has really begun! Later that morning pheasnt opener started at 9am.. we walked around the entire slough and kicked up tons of birds (lots of young birds so that means it was a good hatch this spring) However my roommate shot one over the water and it landed in the slough... I believe in no matter what in getting/retrieving all game birds... So I ran and got my waders (we didn't hunt with any labs until later Saturday) and went out there... besides running into a branch the mucky water that stabbed through my waders and into my leg (darn neo's!) and gave me a big hole... I started to walk back up out of the water and my entire waders from my chest to my boots were covered in tiny little creatures-FAIRY SHRIMP! I scooped them all up in my hands and put them back in the water... It is nice to see that type of food source back home in our main slough we hunt there is none... So it made my day! If there is shrimp they will come! Here are a few pics from the weekend. [image][/image] [image][/image] [image][/image]
