  1. I just bought my #2. A Bushmaster Varminter. No pics of the gun yet but checky these five shot 100 yd groups out.
  2. No use for them? Send them on up to me. I'll put em to work.
  3. The barrel has less than 100 rounds down it. I think 79 to be exact. In fact the only thing shot down it were the bullets used from the 3 boxes that came with the rifle. I'm really excited to get some rounds loaded up. Usually don't hunt coyotes after Feb but I may have to just to get this thing out. Not sure if I can wait for deer season.
  4. Well I was chatting it up with a guy about my need (want)for a new deer/antelope/ long range coyote rig and how I wanted a .260 and was frustrated that nobody chambers them anymore. He said he had a custom 6.5 swede on a 721 action that he was selling. Shilen barrel 26" Tuned trigger.. 2 pounds Leupy rings and bases Fagen stock... (I think) It also glass bedded and floated About 120 rounds brass 230 bullets competition dies ( $100 + ) What do you think he wanted for everything? How much would you have paid? I cannot wait to get this thing to the range. Now for a scope.
  5. I really don't care about the name but I've always liked "face full of 4's"
  6. It's time to check in boys and girls.
  7. Hey mods. E-mail bigshorns2bushytails. I'll be hunting with him this year for sure. He just hasn't been surfing much lately. He's in love. Anyways e-mail him. He'll probably sign up.
  8. WaCoyote ksbowhntr77 KirkV MossySNPR Bachflock Guess I'll start it off and say hello. When do your seasons start. I have to wait till April 15th but get 6 weeks of chasin. Here's last years birds. Hope I'm as lucky this year. Number #1 Number #2
  9. I think they're very nice looking guns. A friend of mine has one in 222 and I really like it. He didn't mention it's accuracy but it sure is purdy.
  10. I've never had a problem with any ammuntion other than the occasional bad primer on .22 LR. Other than that I've never had a defective round.
  11. Whoop Whoop Whoop!!!!
  12. I think 50 is pushing it. Typically people pattern at 40 for turkeys and the minimum is 5 kill zone hits that you'll need. Not saying you can't shoot further but I'd rather kill one at 40 than wound one at 50.
  13. What brass do you have left???? I'm inclined to take it all at that offer. Let me know what you've got. Thanks.
  14. Washington gets no love. We've got Mule Deer, Whitetail, and Blacktail. Oh, and yotes too. LOL. Gotta love it here.
  15. Howled in this one today. And also a ton of deer. I've had many Muleys come to distress but Whiteys either ignore calls or run off. These actually came to howls today. Very weird. This one came at the set that I shot the yote on. It came from the opposite direction as the yote. Came to about 40 yards. These came later in the day. They got to within 30 feet or so from me. This is also the EXACT same place where my eldest daughter shot her first deer a few years back.
  16. Not to hijack but I've got two chokes for sale in the classifieds if interested.
  17. Yes, Browning 3 1/2" BPS and Golds. Also Some Winchesters. Some brownings take (Invector) not invector plus. They are different.
  18. I have a like new Dead Coyote choke for sale. Nothing wrong with it but I bought an Indian Creek as well and the Indian Creek patterns just a bit better. It's been fired through 8 times. Will ship for $30.00. Shoots everything except steel. Designed for larger shot like 4 buck/ dead coyote/ etc.
