    Big Snake

    I honestly didn't know what to think when I saw the title of this thread. Maybe I should get my head out of the gutter a few minutes out of each day! LOL Back on topic - that's one HUGE snake. I'd probably scream and run as fast as I could to get away from that thing... lol. Sure as the world - I'd get bitten.
  14. Re: Lost Hunting Land Ah man what a shame. Same thing happened to my dad and I a few years back when the guy who owned the property we hunted on died of a brain aneurism and his wife sold the property to some big shot who won't let ANYONE hunt there and plans to make the 900-some odd acres into a golf course. Last I heard, there were deer running over top of each other out there. Good luck to you on getting permission from that paticular land owner you mentioned.
  15. Re: Talladega, HERE I COME!!! Oh, and say hi to Mr. Kasey Kahne for me too please. Put in a good word if you don't mind. Must be nice...... can you take me too? LOL
  16. Re: Save the Looney Tunes!!! Wow, someone call PETA! I'm sure they'd possibly have a word or two to say about this.

    Snow...{Pics}

    Re: Snow... I dunno about anyone else, but I'm really sick of seeing snow. I'm SO ready for spring to get here. Even though I'm able to get out and go to work (thanks to my mom taking me), I'm still yet getting a small case of cabin fever. We got a little over 4 inches of the white crap again last night..... so my car is stuck in the garage for a few more days. I swear, I'm just gonna put the stock steelies back on with snow tires and have the state road hire my car as a snow plow.

    Which SUV?

    Re: Which SUV? Another vote for the Toyota, as my mom owns a new 4Runner. Great vehicles! Smooth drive.... lots of get up and go when you need it. (Easy to speed in so be careful!) PLENTY of cargo space.. etc. *two thumbs up*
  19. Re: Keep GW in your prayers if you would.... Oh man.... Take it easy Gary! I'll be thinkin about ya!
  20. Re: GAS PRICES........ $2.09 for the cheap stuff here..... I'm SO glad I have a 4 cylinder... I normally get 34-35mpg with my car..... LOL Only problem is, my car doesn't go anywhere in the snow so my mom takes me to work in her gas guzzling V8 4Runner!
  21. Re: What were they thinking??? Ah man, what goes through kids heads these days? Nothing?! Be sure to let your friends son know that he did the right thing in sticking up for that girl even though he got beat up over it. The kids that did this to him will get thiers in the future. Karma is SUCH a great thing.

    Cats in Wisconsin!

    Re: Cats in Wisconsin! One or two cats in a neighborhood aren't too bad to deal with but a woman that lives at the end of our road owns almost 50 cats which she tends to let out of the house in bunches of 10 or more at a time. This past December, myself, sister, and Dad bought my mom a $100 bird feeder (for her birthday) and after placing it on our back porch it's become nothing more than an expensive buffet for that womans cats. I've shoveled up more than a few dead birds and piles of feathers from underneath it. Now, I'm not gonna step out onto our back porch and start blasting at the cats or anything, although I must admit that I'd like to sometimes. I agree that it would really do hunters more bad than good if something like this was proposed to the public. It's just so frustrating to have a neighbor like I have. You just sorta have to grin and bear it......

    Cats in Wisconsin!

    Re: Cats in Wisconsin! PLEASE make this legal in West Virginia too.... LOL *crosses fingers* I'm still debating on whether or not to give my neighbor a warning about her 40-some odd cats wandering around on our property before they start to vanish from the neighborhood permanently.
  25. Re: Is your other half like this???? YES my other half is EXACTLY like that..... I heard the same exact thing last September on my 21st birthday when a few coworkers offered to take me out to celebrate. When I was reading your post, I was like, WAIT, I didn't post this did I? heh.\ I just can't figure out what the big deal is when it comes to going out with a few friends wanting to take you out somewhere for a special event or whatever. I could understand him fussing about it if you went out with them every weekend, but one time? UGH. I get these lines - "But I won't be there to protect you." "I know how guys at bars are." "I like it when just the two of us do stuff together." "Those people you work with won't look out for you like I do." Hearing that crap just makes me wanna pull my hair out sometimes!! If I were you, I'd go anyway! That's what I did..... and he got over it in a few days. *shrug*
