    Hey Beilgard!!

Saw that this morning with Steve, Jimmy, antelope hunting. Second time I saw it. Liked that "antelope call", haha. Supposed to be on the Sportsmans Channel here on our cable in WV at noon tomorrow (Thur.) Doesn't say what episode. That hunt is episode 11 on SOA websites new hunts. p.s. Also saw Ward Anderson on this channel a few days ago hunting with Wayne Vanzwoll (sp?) Antelopeoutfitters.com Yeah Ward, you hopped over that fence pretty well for a big guy, LOL. I always get snagged on that barbed wire about mid-stride, know what I mean?
  2. Nice pistol, surprisingly accurate for their size, definitely not a "belly gun". You'll like it, just remember: rule 1 = keep the "meat" of your hand below the slide travel,,,,,it hurts. rule 2 = let it snap closed to go into battery, don't baby it, and remember rule 1. rule 3 = use more of the end of your trigger finger on the trigger or you'll run out of travel before that loooong trigger pull fires it, as your finger will hit your thumb and stop you, and remember rule 1. Also, a laser site is really nice on these and they can be had reasonable from elsiepeastore.com (site name sounds like LCP, haha). They have one for 119 and the crimson trace laser grip for 154 I think. Enjoy, and don't forget rule 1.
  3. Hope he reported them and their serial numbers to law enforcement. Also, log into stolenweapons.com and report them there. Hope that helps!
  4. Chris,,,,praying for you from WV. Get well soon man!
  5. We're all right I guess. Searched "bitternut" and got "aka..bitternut hickory, swamp hickory, and pignut hickory",, all the same thing. Just depends on what part of the country you are in I guess. Coloquial names it's called, lol.
  6. Those are "pig-nut" hickory nuts.
  7. It goes into effect 2-1-11 in the great republic of CA, yeah, the governator signed it.
  8. Wow, I guess Rem. and CCI are in on this too. Rem. is even buying back their 597's issuing "coupons" for another rem. product. Didn't see anything on the Hornady site about this though. http://www.cci-ammunition.com/safety/safety_notice.aspx http://www.remington.com/safety/17_HMR_Ammo_notice/default.asp
  9. Winchester has a new warning on their site not to shoot their .17 HMR Supreme or Super-X ammo in any semi-auto. Just came out on 8/21/09. http://winchester.com/news/newsview.aspx?storyid=272
  10. check out mountaineer-sports.com very interesting set up there.
  11. Marlin M-60, hard to beat and accurate. Saw one shot that hadn't been cleaned in this millenium 'til it finally caught fire inside, blew it out, shooter continued shooting. It never misfired or misfed throughout this process. Very accurate also. We finally treated it to a good cleaning afterward. :tt1:
  12. natchezss.com is currently running a sale on various laser sights, check 'em out. :gunsmilie:

  14. Hey Strut, forgot to report that a couple months ago I added a .357 mag. revolver to my "magnum" collection. Lots of fun with that too. Cya, Terry.

  16. Hey, I'm here finally. Yeah I have one and love it. It shoots the 140 GameKing ahead of a max. load of H-4831 great. So yes I do handload for it, it's never had a factory load through it. Once shot longways clear through an adult doe deer at around 50 yds., entered right at the right hind quarter and exited the left front quarter, hit the leg joint and finally stopped it. Had 66 grs. left of the bullet so I don't think penetration is any problem. Quite a mess inside though, looked like it swallowed a stick of dynamite, haha. Mod. 70 with 26 in. Douglas, installed by Melvin Forbes around 1979. Still like new. Last deer I shot with it was just shy of 400 yds.=no problem.

Wow, great job, especially with 4# line. I usually break 4# just setting the hook, LOL.
  18. They should at least attach one of those "bumper dumpers" to the tie down hook on the tail for those who want to use it for free, LOL.
  19. Didn't log into it but with these usernames=didn't want to.
