Roadkill04: If I were looking for a dedicated bolt action slug gun I would consider the new Savage 220F myself. I don't think any of the other companies even bother making one anymore and NEVER made one like this one. The 220F just came out on April 30th. of this year and is built on their 110 action with floating barrel, drilled-tapped for scope, and even has their "accutrigger". Sounds like a real bolt/slug gun to me! Check it out at savagearms.com,,,then drool.

Cool picture, nut. Love to have that long barreled old shotgun. Must be a turkey gun! Appears to maybe be a 10 gauge. Shot one of those yrs. ago, belonged to my wife's uncle. It was an old Remington SXS in 10 gauge, fully engraved too, all the way down the barrels. Rabbit ear hammers. Wish I knew what happened to it.

If you get online with remington, winchester, or federal, their charts are all with 20" barrel rifles, and you can download their programs to keep and play with. Rem and Win are the same programs just geared for their own brand of factory loads. (Remshoot & Winshoot).

Doc, the side mount is the best of the two for a top eject M-94. Still have the open sites if you need them. You can actually site in your scope initially with the open sites too. The scope will need turned to the left 1/4 turn to clear the chamber opening which will change the adj. routine. (So that the l/r turret isn't interfering with ejection). The adj. change as follows: Hold you hand straight out with thumb up and turn 1/4 turn left. Now up is left, down is right, left is down, and right is up,,,,simple. You will only be about 3/4 inch left of bore so if it's dead on at 100 yds. you would have to go to 200 yds. before it's 3/4 in. to the other side. The one I have is a quickmount of some kind, would have to look, but it works nice and used 3 existing screws in the receiver that are replaced by longer ones. (Keep the originals for when the scope mt. is removed). Terry. ps. regular scopes are also much cheaper than the LER type.

Not bad at all. Glocks are nice. May have her use a little less finger on the trigger and also for repetitive shots just release the trigger far enough to set the sear/striker again instead of the full pull. She did great though.

Why do these ads run down through a post so I can't read it? My Trophy Den ad drops right down along the right side of double a's msg. and I don't know what it says!
