Doc, the side mount is the best of the two for a top eject M-94. Still have the open sites if you need them. You can actually site in your scope initially with the open sites too. The scope will need turned to the left 1/4 turn to clear the chamber opening which will change the adj. routine. (So that the l/r turret isn't interfering with ejection). The adj. change as follows: Hold you hand straight out with thumb up and turn 1/4 turn left. Now up is left, down is right, left is down, and right is up,,,,simple. You will only be about 3/4 inch left of bore so if it's dead on at 100 yds. you would have to go to 200 yds. before it's 3/4 in. to the other side. The one I have is a quickmount of some kind, would have to look, but it works nice and used 3 existing screws in the receiver that are replaced by longer ones. (Keep the originals for when the scope mt. is removed). Terry.
ps. regular scopes are also much cheaper than the LER type.
