I bought a new lawnmower this past Saturday. I've been using a hand me down Craftsman I got, but it cratered over the weekend. Went to Sears, Lowes, Home Depot, etc... and ended up buying a last years model Troy Bilt Super Bronco. I was riding around with our middle girl Sallie yesterday, and found an old claw foot bath tub back in the boonies on our place. I couldn't believe I found it. The porcelain is stained and it's a bit rusty, but all four feet were there. I plugged the drain hole and filled it up with water, but didn't find any leaks or cracks. I'm planning on having someone who knows about castings look at it and then either having it refinished or doing it myself. Does anyone know about refinishing this kind of thing? Can it be done or would I be better off letting the pros do it? We're heading out to KC for vacation tonight, but I'll try to get some pictures up next week. Ben

I think it's an '08, but I could be wrong. JaLynn drives an '05, I think, Toyota Sienna. I always said I would never own a minivan, but now that I own one, I sure do like it. Ben

I've got about a 1-1 1/2 acre spot that I'm going to put in beans. Also have an old road I'll probably put in beans and then a perrenial something or other this fall. I've got a few other smaller areas I'm going to work on killing the grass in through the summer then plant in the fall. Probably put them in some kind of clover/wheat mix. With the weather we've been having, it's hard to stay off the tractor. Ben

Drive up to the Grand Canyon and stay in Flagstaff for the night. Really cool area up there. And don't forget to go by Sedona on the way. It's beautiful! Ben
