  1. I'll probably play dress up, Candyland, and wrestle in the floor with the kiddos. Hope to be in bed by ten o'clock or so! Ben
  2. Seems awful steep when you can get this: http://www.buckknives.com/index.cfm?event=product.detail&productID=2929 for less than half of any of those. If you're willing to spend the money though, I'd give Ross a call. Ben
  3. I bought JaLynn this: http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=11101&storeId=10001&productId=82465&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=15704&isFirearm=Y and she can handle it just fine. Ben
  4. And I had to drive across town in it about 8:00 Thursday night. It was definitely a white knuckler! Ben
  5. He was a fire and brimstone preacher before he started trying to raise money, and boy could he raise the money. He did a lot of good for a lot of people, but I too am not a big fan of most televangelists. Ben
  6. Anything happening to my wife or kids. The thought of it scares me to death! Ben
  7. Anything outside. Particularly gardening, both flower and vegetable. Ben
  8. And I like it. http://www.ruger.com/products/lcp/models.html Ben
  9. What he :stupid: said. Here are the prices: https://www.wildlifedepartment.com/forget1/LicenseDescription.aspx Ben
  10. That's a heck of a way to start bow hunting! Congratulations. Ben
  11. This is a good way to introduce yourself. Welcome! Ben
  12. I'm already getting some of mine: http://www.ruger-firearms.com/products/newModelSingleSixConvertible/models.html Hoping the Ruger LCP is the next to show up. Ben
  13. My folks bought me this for my graduation: http://www.ruger-firearms.com/products/newModelSingleSixConvertible/models.html I've been wanting one for a while. Should be a lot of fun. Ben
  14. until I graduate with my BS in Civil Engineering. I'm going down to Stillwater today to have my exit interview with the head of the CIVE department. I've been working for a civil engineering firm here in Tulsa since graduating with my first degree in Industrial Management, back in 1999. It's not my recommended way to get an engineering degree, it's actually been a lot like this :bang:, but if nothing else, it's taught me dilligence! I've been in college almost every semester, save a few summers and one fall, since graduating High School in 1995, and I've not had a semester (spring, summer, or fall) off since getting married in 2003. JaLynn has been a rock for me and has kept me from quitting on several occasions. God blessed me with her because he knew I would need her. Long story short, "WHEW"! Ben
  15. GO FOR IT!!! You can always move back home, but you may never get an opportunity like this again. Like you said, time to get on your knees! Ben
  16. Hunting goes way beyond bucks and does for me. If I see deer, great. If it's a buck, even better. And I'd love to shoot a booner, but that doesn't matter in the least to me. Spending time enjoying God's creations is a spiritual thing for me. I probably miss seeing a lot of deer due to prayer, reading (yes, I take self improvement books to the stand with me), or just closing my eyes and listening. Now that I'm taking my 5 year old daughter, I get to start all over again by teaching her to appreciate the opportunity to be out there among it all. The excitement I see in her reminds me of the excitement I first felt. It truly is a blessing from God! Ben
  17. Any wind in weather like this will cut right through you. Crank up the heaters, pile on the blankets, and pop some popcorn, it's movie watching weather! Ben
  18. It's funny you say that, because I thought "boy, I bet she sleeps better tonight!" Ben
  19. Sucks to be that guy, but good for her. If more people would protect themselves and their belongings in this manner, I'm sure we'd see a sharp decline in criminal behavior. Ben
  20. Sounds like a good deal to me. I paid $425 last year, and didn't get it back for about 11 months. Ben
  21. I wish I had some money! Ben
  22. I've been taking my 5 year old daughter, therefore I've not seen a lot of deer. Then again, I've been taking my 5 year old daughter, so it's been more fun than most any season in the past. It all averages out to about a 7. Ben
