Re: calls its really hard to explain how to blow a short reed, i would reccomend going out and buying an instructional dvd, would reccomend, jeff foiles or barny calef they have some good tips

Re: goose calls i started on blowing a poly carb zink paralyzer and it was really easy to blow, but know ive gotten better i blow Hayes calls from illinois and that paralyzer sounds horrible to the new calls i blow, but for a begginner i would recommend a zinc call because they require little pressure to blow

Help 40 lbs would be fine i have a 15 foot jon boat and and i have a minn kota endura 36lbs on the back and a 40 lbs thrust minn kota foot pedal on the front, and i run the one on the back if i have to and i run it off my marine starting batter cause i have electric start for my 25 hp evinrude, and then i run my front troller off a 12v farm and fleet deep cycling marine battery and i can spend a good 8 hours on a lake with a full charged battery

Re: Which electric trolling motor??? Help i would say if your looking for foot pedal trolling motor i would get a minkkota 40lb thrust or if your looking for a stern mount trolling motor, go with a minkkota endura like 36 lbs thrust

Re: Live well or stringer? we use coolers in our boats cause we have jon boats, and we run aration lines into the coolers, but if you look in cabelas or bass pro, they have kits that you can put together to make a live well out of a cooler if you want to do that
