  1. Always love looking at your posts deershed! Looks like your off to a great start. Looking forward to another adventure with you in your next thread.
  2. Yeah I remember this forum had tons of posts. All the youth are grown up now. Well most of them.
  3. Yeah I couldn't remember if that was included or not cause there was some issue with them not to long I think. I could be wrong though. That is not a hybrid though.
  4. I think he might actually make it Todd. Very amazing to say the least.
  5. I thought there were only the four kinds of Turkeys for a grand slam. Osceola, Merriams, Eastern, and Rio. ????
  6. I lost count at twenty and that was two years ago. It has been really expensive.
  7. Oh and Dakota your bird looks great! I bet you were pumped to get that mount back!
  8. Beautiful looking mounta and congratulations on your first turkey!
  9. By far one of the best bows I have ever shot! Absolutely love shooting that bow. Very forgiving and great for hunting, 3d, and target. It is definately not a speed bow, but with that kind of draw length you would get near max speed with it. The back wall is phenomenal. You can't beat the barnesdale limbs that Elite bows come with either. They are available in all black, AT edition(camo limb/black riser, or camo. Dipped in Realtree AP.

  11. If you posted it last year I didn't see it! Wow what a great bunch of sheds. Did you find any smaller ones? lol Congrats on the first matched set of the season too.
  12. I've seen those wolf hunting Golden Eagles. That happens in Mongolia. I know a family that has ancestors that used to hunt just like that. Really cool stuff. Thanks for sharing those. I'm not the best at searchin.
  13. I was just looking at my turkey fan on the wall and the beard looked a lot longer than 7". I just re-measured it and its 9 1/2". Wonder how I got 7" in my head.
  14. Sounds like everyones first was a true accomplishment! Diamond_Archer, congrats young man that is a great first turkey. Dakota I remember you posting that one up last season. Pretty weird bird for sure.
  15. I don't think I've seen this thread before so I'll give it a shot. I'm getting pumped for this turkey season. Even though I have to wait till May. Here is my first ever turkey. Shot at 20 yards after 7 days of hunting. Shot during the last Season in MN in 2009. 19 lbs, 9 1/2" beard, 7/8" spurs What was everyone else's first turkey?
  16. The only one I keep seeing is the golden eagle taking out the little deer. I think that video came from Europe. I believe the species of the deer was Roe Deer and they only get to 40 to 60 lbs or so.
  17. I tried it and deer licked it, but weren't hitting it that hard. They loved it a lot more after buying stump licker and pouring it all over the rock and stump.
  18. Custom 2008 Ross Cardiac 37 showed up a few weeks ago and love it!
  19. Man Griz that 9 pointer is an Oklahoma giant! I hope you find some great sheds this season.
  20. That is insane! I wonder if it was just the young bird's inexperience as to why it went after the deer. I've never heard of eagles going after such large prey. This could also be a sign of desperate times too I suppose.
  21. Well apparently I lost the picture of my first shed. Guess I'll have to take a new one. Great first sheds you two.
  22. Thank you Mark and Todd for setting this up! Looks like we have a huge group this year. Too much snow on the ground still up here, but within a month I'll be after them.
  23. I've tried CX Maxima, CX Maxima Hunter, Victory Arrows V-Vorce HV, Goldtip XT, Carbon Force Predators, and Easton Axis N-Fused. Out of all I would have to rank the Easton Axis N-Fused as one of the best arrows I've ever shot. The arrow is just solidy built, tougher than nails, and an absolute great hunting arrow. The small diameter will give you great penetration on any kind of animal. I've shot mine through 2x4's on accident, but they didn't come out with a scratch on them. Right behind the Easton Axis would have to be the CX Maxima Hunters. With the draw length and weight your at right now you'd be going with a 400 sized shaft for an Easton Axis or a 250 sized CX Maxima Hunter. Good luck in finding the best arrow for your bow!
  24. Those are really neat and way to go to the V-Force sales rep. Congratulations to Jess on a new set of great arrows.
