    Broken heart

Re: Broken heart Please understand, my wife and I aren't wonderful people for adopting. God just put our girl in China and made it possible for us to go get her. Some come home from the hospital, and some come home from another country.

    Broken heart

Last night my wife recieved a package from a man that reserches things in China. She had him look into the finding of our daughter. He sent us a original copy of the news paper that Carlee's picture was in, as well as an interpretation of the writing. There were probably 16 little girls that were abandoned in the paper with her. Sorry to say I couldn't pick her out, and when Jill told me which one she was I couldn't believe it. She is beautiful, but she was scary at 2 days old.*L* They estimated her age at 1 day old when she was found, and she was so tiny. I know she had to go through all that to end up in our home, but it broke my heart to think what her birth mom went through to have to leave her little girl. My prayers are always with her birth mom, hoping God lets her know somehow that her girl is doing great. I also realize that the daughter (Cadee) we are in the process of adopting now is over there going through this as we speak, and it really does tear me up. If you ever start to not appreciate what we truly have in this country, please go to China. The people have little, but always give you there best. Thanks for letting me vent, I just needed to share.
  8. Re: Vertical Pins? I didn't like them in the low light conditions. Just not a big enough pin for low light.
  9. Re: Strange prayer request. Gods will, Prayer sent.

  11. Re: It\'s gonna be a warm one! We are supposed to hit high 80's today and tomorrow, cool off to 70's then. Feel for ya but wouldn't trade ya brother.
  12. Re: new to turkey hunting, calling advise Primos has a good tape. We also did an instructional tape on each call as well as how to maintain them and use them. I covered the mouth calls and box calles. Rodger Parks covered the slate and glass calls. I'm with Mountain Side Game Calls. If you would like more info on our product just PM me. As for the gobble, use a cutter call. Train you throat to gargle without water. Apply slight tounge pressure and shake your head. If you can't master that pick up a Red Wolfe gobble call. good luck.
  13. Re: need help ASAP I agree, bad string loop. When you take it back have them teach you how to tie them, then buy 3' of the loop material. I like being able to tie one on and be back in buis. in a matter of minutes. Good Luck
  14. Re: Quartering to shots on hunting shows I think the bigest thing we need to remember is that everyones set up and KE, and ability are different. In hunting you are your only judge. That's it and you have to live with it. I'm short (veticaly challenged) I only have a 26" draw. I shoot 70 lbs. at about 230 fps. I know there are angle I can't take because of penetration. Know your abbilities as well as your equipments limitations. And by all means shoot straight.
  15. Re: Need some advice Only suggestion I can make is to put a brass nock on the upper side of the loop, and tie the top of the loop above that. Larry Wise did some testing and found the best performance with this set up. good-luck
  16. Re: Christmas Eve, Eve Good luck MB, I have to wait 3 weeks here. Brother in-law is hunting his ranch in Montana, He isn't having the best of luck. Seeing deer, but that bow range is holding him back.*L*
  17. Re: peep sight What is your max. shooting range. I usually take mine and drill it out to 3/16 of an inch. I also shoot with both eyes open, so it never bothered me. I really don't know how it will effect down range accuracy because I've always used one. But I will be watching this post to see what the other guys say.
  18. Re: How is everyone? Doing great here TG, my darling wife sent me to the doc. Yesterday for my blood work for the adoption. Fun was had by all. We have most of the paper work done, and should have our application shipped to China by end of November. That means we should fly by next June. Getting ready for archery season, few golf tournaments to finish up, and spoiling Carlee.( God is good, all the time.) Good luck with the intramurals. C-Ya

  20. Re: If your Losing deer Read this..Michigan Hate to break this to you all, but I'm in south central penn. and we have plaster casts of the tracks of a male and female. 2 years later we get casts of a male again. they have a home range of 300 mi. I don't know if they are here full time or not, but i know they come by once in a while.
  21. Re: need suggestions on bow hunting??? If you have limited area to hunt, don't over hunt it. keep activity to a minimum. Another thing is figure out if there are big deer in your area. and keep trying.
  22. Re: I need a geometry buffs help: Red neck way. take a yard stick, hold it up and back up until the yard stick and the tree are the same length. then lay the yard stick sideways and thats were the tree will reach. squared pied cubed or whatever.
