  1. Yeah but I heard a controversy was brewing over the women's gold medal win over our USA women. Turns out their testosterone levels were extremely high. After further examination, it was discovered they were men. The giveaway was their victory celebration. Oddly enough, it was also discovered that their women won today over the USA and have been playing in the NHL. I guess each one is at their own preferred level. :pop::jaw::eat:
  2. I don't know if this'll help you but my wife always gives our little one's a dose of tylenol before we go so it's ready to kick in by the time they get the shot and she plans the appt. as early as possible in case she has to go back to the doc office for a bad reaction. She's an LPN so knowing the docs doesn't hurt either. She then alternates with motrin and gives a bath earlier than usual too. You're doing great with the baby and it's all a part of nature that you're dealing with. Keep your chin up. Every little bit helps when dealing with this. By the way, I've said forever that a fan pointed away from everyone is a great way to create white noise for babies. It's a way to soothe them without having to constantly hold them.
  3. Happy birthday Jake!:gunsmilie:
  4. Sorry to hear this buddy. I know it's never easy losing a close relative for anyone. I lost both of my grandmothers within 6 months. It's tough but somebody has to be the rock and I think you have what it takes. Prayers for you and yours buddy.

    Biscuits?

Rules on this clearly state: Biscuits are allowed with white gravy (can include sausage, chicken, bologna, bacon fat, ham or pureed tomatoes), apple butter, preserves, molasses, butter, or anything else you can or have to sop (Southern word for soak) it up with. Three crown yeast rolls are only allowed butter or a combination butter and sorghum or butter and honey. No exceptions. See! I didn't make this stuff up. I just follow the rules exactly.
  6. Those things should be marked: Display use only. Actual use is guaranteed to result in over stimulation and possible, unstoppable giddiness.
  7. As much as I enjoy seeing you suffer, I hate hearing about my little buddy having to put up with you and having to deal with ear problems. Stay on top of that ear problem and check it often. This problem can affect him for the rest of his life if you let it go too long. Poor kid's got enough to deal with what with Daddy having the same name as his daddy's idol Kyle Busch. LOL! All kidding aside, I'd try putting a little fan next to his crib and point it away from everyone. It doesn't have to be really loud but white noise will do wonders for his sleeping. Worked with both of my girls. Good luck man.

    Thieves

So when does the storage facility's insurance give you your money? Seems that they have to have insurance to operate it and theft of your stuff is exactly why you pay money for a gated storage facility. I'd ask the manager when you can expect your check. Otherwise, what's the point in paying the money?
  9. I found that usually 31/32" or 15/16" is good. More than that and you have overlap.
  10. The only time you should do a free hand camera shot is when you're tracking the animal you killed. Other than that, I'd always us a camera mount that attaches to the tree or a tripod on the ground. Nothin worse than a shaky camera shot especially when zoomed in tight. Frame the scene, not just an up close shot of the kill zone. Get as close as you can to the animal as long as it's steady and you get the whole animal in the shot. Over the shoulder shots are great with a close animal. Other than that, I'm just saying what I like and don't like. I'm sure the pros on here can tell you much better than I can.

    55. It's a fun little game.
  12. Well, I would say that most of what you described is Texas. I love Texas but I don't have the guts to move there. West Texas is pretty good with lots of game. You could even look into a park ranger job there or Border Patrol. I laugh every time I come out of Laredo because the guys with the accents are the one's asking me if I'm an American. Funny stuff. Texas isn't bad if you can put up with the Mexicans. It's a different way of life but a great state to buy cheap land, hunt lots of deer, be left alone and of course carry firearms at will. Lots of jobs and a Deep Red state. Good luck buddy and let us know what you think.
  13. And everyone thought it was a mystery as to why Heath Ledger couldn't sleep at night? I'm thinking making out with another man on film would do that to a guy's sleep habits.
  14. Not a good choice of words.
  15. That's pretty deep for a first post. Relax. We're mostly friends here. LOL. Join the forums and post where appropriate. Like in the bowhunting section when talking String Music. Have fun and keep it easy Greasy
  16. I like the Hunting Unlimited games. I have #10. It's fun but a little challenging. Just make sure you have a fast processor and a High Graphics card. It's not needed to have the top of the line equipment but it helps when you have action on the monitor with a lot of animals or you want to see further in the game with a scope. Challenging to say the least.
  17. It's sad here in Illinois. We have horrible leaders everywhere and the people vying to replace them are no better. Illinois is like a big piggy bank to Dems. They tap and tap and tap until we have no money whatsoever then they gripe that the big cities need more funding for their special life. Meanwhile the rural towns have nothing and are happier but with less funding per capita. Hunting will eventually be a rich man's sport only. I'm not hacking on the rich, I just hate how our leases, limited public hunting and prices are out of control. Thanks to idiot Reps and Dems. I can't stand it.
  18. I'm proud of you buddy. Like I said before, your one of my favorite prostaff members and friends. I have been over the road and it's been awesome going through the live hunts with you. Makes me feel like I'm there. I always say, when you work hard, eventually it pays off. God's plan is greater than ours and I bet he has a buck that will reach his prime the same time you have an arrow ready. You'll see. It could happen and I know it will. Thank you Tim. Now get some much needed rest. I know I'd be snuggling with my daughters any time I got the chance. That's what really matters anyway.
  19. Uhhh... it's not what you think. It's actually very intelligent! Great hunt, filming and shooting! I loved it and not bad eye candy either.
  20. This deer was killed on the second day of gun season in Illinois behind my friend's house. Her brother in law was hunting their woods and took him down an hour and a half into the hunt. Now that's an Illinois buck. I count only 14 points from the pic but I'm sure there's some stickers on him.

    This Sucks

If you want a chance at that deer meat at least, call the game warden and tell him what happened. Regardless of what the landowner says, he can retrieve the animal or put it out of it's misery for evidence. You may just get the meat donated to you. It's worth a shot!!! Call them asap.
  23. Well, we were in labor (yes I said we) for about 18 hours with Emileigh and learned our lesson with her. We planned the c section with Kyleigh and no labor at all.
  24. Good job Tim. Good Karma too. I'm sure you'll be rewarded some day in one way or another. Glad to call you friend.
  25. So sorry to hear of your loss New. It hurts no matter when it happens. Prayers for you and your family in this hour of need.
