  1. You wish... Busch Lover! I'll be gone for a few weeks on the road. Keep the contest in check and I'll holla back when I get home. Good luck buddy. Yer gonna need it.
  2. I'm sure it's similar to the idea of using fobs. It's a little out there but the principles are the same. To tell the truth, the only problem I see is using standard sights and rests with it. That may be the major drawback.
  3. C'mon guys! Let's all chime in a little and chatter it up. I'm pumped for the season and can't wait to stick something brown. I need some freezer meat. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. :hammer1:
  4. I just wanted to say how sorry I am that ya'll have The_Kat on your team. I mean paper targets he can drill all day but when it comes to something that's walking and breathing, he locks up like a Bentley in the hood. Like I said, I'm sorry ya'll have to go through the season with one big fat ZERO but well hey, at least it's not my team. LMBO :poke::flex:
  5. I was out with a buddy the other night looking for deer in fields when we stopped at our old standby. I think you'll know why we call it that when you see this.
  6. So it's between several different names. We need to get one and then Dakota or whoever's good at graphics design can design our logo for out signature. I don't mean to take charge but I thought maybe we could get past this little phase and get down to strategy and such. It's a pleasure to be on a team with really good and familiar member and some that I'm sure we'll all get to know shortly. I only see a few problem members like Dakota:baby: and LifeNRA:2guns:. LMBO. I think we'll have a good team and Mr. Dakota usually cashes in on something he can put on the wall. I just hope it's a Whitetail. I don't know how much I'll be able to hunt this season but I hope to get at least 10-15 days out in the field. I have a few friends I met on here coming up from LA at the start of November so I'm going to try to be home for that. Hopefully we'll have a good time and a lot of action. Well, who's going to start with their vote? Dakota may have already come up with the name and he don't even know it. I kinda like the Team Whack 'Em & Stack 'Em. That's my vote.
  7. One of my favorite songs to workout to is Drowning Pool - Let the Bodies Hit the Floor. Now that song gets me pumped when I'm crankin' out 350 lbs on the Bench press. Never Again by Nickel Back is pretty good.
  8. If everyone on Team 7 bowhunts, we could have a name like Archery Assasins, or The Bow Brigade, Broadhead Brigade.
  9. I think it's time we got our voice in with the rest of the Country as this could affect us all. No matter your political affiliation, Realtree.com should put it's voice into the mix to protect all of us. I would have put this into the politics room but like I said, it affects everyone here. http://www.nj.com/sports/njsports/index.ssf/2009/07/newly_promoted_washington_offi.html
  10. I was thinking of a team name. What about The Rack Attacks? Rack Smackers, Team 7 Smack-A-Racks. Just a few ideas.
  11. If it were up to me, you would have to have at least 500 posts and have been a member for over 1 year. Too many people think we are taking this contest too seriously but in reality it's simply to avoid frustration down the road. Too many people want the reward with little to no effort. It's not about the reward either. It's just a matter of satisfying the competitive nature we have and have some fun at the same time.

    Crossing the line

You have to ask yourself a couple of questions and if you can answer yes to them then you're aces on the conscience part. 1. Are you qualified for the job you might be hired for and had no doubt about that before you applied or were interviewed? 2. Did you have any preconceived notion of using the promise of a hunt with the interviewer prior to the interview? 3. Do you feel that you will stay with this job long-term and did not simply apply for this job to get you by until you get a better offer?
  14. Let me know what you think of the Titan. I'm a pretty big guy and I'm interested in what you think of the comfort of it.
  15. I already didn't want any before I bought my F.O.B.'s. Now I really don't ever try to get them close since I bust them easier without even getting a robinhood. I broke a couple FOB's shooting at the same spot and that was it. The FOB's aren't expensive but wasting them is senseless. Last one I busted was at 50 yrds. I thought I was safe but I was wrong.
  16. I wouldn't get too excited. I don't see any dew claws behind the track and I'm pretty sure that's a sandy soil. If it were a mature buck, I'm betting we would have seen the dew claws, a little more spread on the toes and a little deeper of a print. A 4-1/2 YO doe I'd say.
  17. I think this post would be better placed in the "Gun Room" instead of the pro staff room.
  18. If you don't visit the forum a lot before the contest and you've been a member for almost a year, then that's exactly the reason they put a limit on minimum posts. Because you most likely will follow the same pattern after you enter the contest and not post until next year. Don't run up your post count just to enter a contest. It's not fair to enter it, become a part of a team and them never hear from you until next year when it's time to enter again. I think the contest should be for members with at least 500 posts and eliminate this problem of flyby members that don't really care about the forums, just the competition for bragging rights. Not saying you shouldn't be a member of the forums but be a member for the right reasons.
  19. Your just putting too much palm into your grip. Relax your hand, stiffen your wrist and keep your elbwo outward instead of downward. You'll be fine ya Sally! LOL:hammer1:
  20. Matthew's Outback '05 The One That Started the Parallel Limb Craze!!!
  21. Can I buy a vowel or at least some punctuation? Where has our education system gone? Oh yeah, Obama's followers have run it. well i was watching some tv and i seen these broadheads called swhackers have any of you all herd or use them before they are a mecanical broadheads like the rage i wonder where you could pick up a pack or two i would like to try them and then if they dont like how they proform i will go back to the rage
  22. I think this is one of the funniest/stangest things I've ever seen. http://www.divinecaroline.com/22323/49668-redneck-refined--deer-butt-art
  23. I would be thrilled with a typical 140-150 class. I don't care about points with those inches. I'm pretty simple when it comes to what would make my day. Even better is if and when my daughters would take something like that. My dream deer would be anything my kids took.
