  1. Re: Handgun Contest Entry page? I will try, i only have 35 mm photos right now, but i will get them scanned, had about a 14-15" spread and weight 160-170..i couldn't believe how much he weighed. i threw him on my back and had a real hard time carrying him out..i usually dont have a problem.
  2. Re: Handgun Contest Entry page? well i got a heavy 6 pointer saturday with the blackhawk 44 mag.
  3. Re: first bow buck (NY) pics congrats... I used to cut teh throats..then I had an old timer tell me "how would I like it if the last thing in life I saw was some guy comign to slit my throat."....next time put another arrow in hiim from a distance and let em die in peace........... congrats on the fine animal.
  4. Re: Traditional Question I dont knwo what my yardage is.....if I feel it i shoot....... however usually under 30 yards... and as for being slow my longbow shoots jsut as fast if not faster than some of the older wheel bows....i use carbons and aluminums....

    Walmart bow

Re: Walmart bow second for Kittery here ....
  8. Re: what\'s best to glue inserts? Loctite work but becomes brittle in the cold and can break and teh insert can come loose on impact with something hard. you can use hotmelt on aluminum and on carbons 2 part epoxy works great.
  9. Re: MMA Fighters!!!! yeah thats true, die hard bar fighters like Tank are obsolete nowadays!.....I'm waiting for the UFC to become jsut like boxing soon. with all of the new rules that Dana White has put in its not far off, not only that but that fued you see between Ken and Tito on TV ?....a buddy of mine was there, they were told to act it up.....just like the wwf.....its sad......
  10. Re: cheap digital game cams pm your way, thanks a lot
  11. Re: MMA Fighters!!!! I used to compete at 210lb.now running around 230, more muscle but too heavy to be quick.... Trained out of Rutland Vt. for a bit My favorite is a guy i went to high school with Tom Murphy....... I got to toss a few gloves with Mark Hoffman................. Coleman is a pretty impressive sized dude huh?...hhahah
  12. Re: Did I hose up? i think spine will def be an issue, i used 5575's for a 65lb bow that aws cut past center and was putting out decent energy and i still needed 150 grains up front... the only way i see it is you need to up the front weight or you need to be shooting off of a flipper style rest
  13. Re: Did I hose up? well i twould be a problem, because any untuned arrow is not flying to its true potential. taking away from its total energy is not good and can limit penetration and accuracy. I would honestly add a bunch of front end weight adn nock point, you should eb able to use teh 5575's .. jsut need to tune them
  14. Re: Did I hose up? I'm pretty sure your going to need arounf 250 grains up fron at least to use those arrows, tehy will work great, however i would put in some 100 or 150 grain inserts and beef up the front end weight. but they should work.
  15. Re: Brother\'s First Fight: Brazilian?....Royce style.. should eb good at the grapple, not suprised by the submission. If he ever makes it to the east coast he can look me up... I'll get him in a great place.
  16. Re: Brother\'s First Fight: True it does end up in the ground and pound grapple state, i wouldn't say 90 % end in submission, in todays MMA most of teh fights are ended by the referee........which was not the case 5-6 years ago, back then it was submit or get knocked out, there was no stopping a fight because you couldn't protect yourself. the reason for this change, so Mr. White can bring the MMA to the main stream with out complaints of violence................... It takes more than you think to submit someone.............. good on your brother....oh yeah what is his discipline?
  17. Re: Brother\'s First Fight: Good on your brother to stick it out and get the submission, its not as easy as it looks, people have no idea, especially with boxing ropes, that is tough.. good for him.. he looks like good
  18. Re: Help with Game cams Thanks for the reply, i would take tehm back, but these are my first and i got them for 20$, i put it on test and it worked alright, and i got a few pics of me checking them, so i guess it works... i will have to see, thanks for teh help
  19. I jsut purchased 2 35mm stealth cams and was curious if anyone had any pointers for me, so far teh only pic i have is of me checking on them
  20. Re: Soccer/WWF Why would something be happy, are you saying its for homosexuals, let me guess you played football....figured, narrow minded american....... hmm, i guess tehy are tough enough to not need to wear pads like pansy's............... i got an idea why dont you go back to flexing infront of the mirror..

    recurve bow

Re: recurve bow Adamc...... you should be alright weight wise of the arrow, however i think you may have to beef up the front of the arrows, possibly a 175grn or a 200..... you will have to play with it to see how well tehy fly.
  22. Re: Tito vs Shamrock? Yeah i understand that, and its true, However when i got into MMA the big appeal was that.you could get really hurt unless you could protect yourself....look at shamrocks last fight from Ortiz........... He was so beat up he looked like a pillow from teh swelling......
  23. Re: Soccer/WWF In lower level games In some area's they actually have done away with PK's and they play short 5 min. halfs where they remove 1 player from each side until someone scores... golden goal............ p.s. ecw.....ewc...?????? what the ?
  24. Re: Soccer/WWF this si fake huh!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1i_l0OeeMc&eurl=
  25. Re: Soccer/WWF Haahahaha, well yeah its acting and annoying, but if you dont like it, change it over to Speed channel or RFD tv. ... typical narrow minded Americans. This happens once every 4 years, so deal with it for a few weeks. I get sick of watching over payed Steroid hopped up rap stars put on 40- lbs of pads and then take breaks every play so they can catch their breath
