Re: And tips..hunting open areas... My luck around here in Iowa with pop up blinds for deer has really been poor. For turkeys it is great though. What we have ended up doing is building wooden box blinds on the ground and put them out in August and the deer get used to them after awhile then when you go and sit in them it doesn't bother them after awhile.

Re: Question about Does and Doe Hunting? I actually heard that from some realtree pro staff members. I for some real will take their advice over most anyone elses because that is all they do for a living.

Re: Question about Does and Doe Hunting? Whatever you do, DO NOT SHOOT THE YOUNG DOES!!!!!!!!!!! 99 percent of the time the young does will have bucks and the old does will give birth to the does. So you are better off taking the mature does to ensure less chance of having more does.

Re: May have to swim home!!! AH you finally got it huh. We had 4 inches here over this past weekend. Relly slowed down the field work not to good now we will really have to cramp for getting it all done on time.

Re: Mondays..... I could really have a three day weekend other than work on monday. We always seem to get the least amount of work done and pretty much waste the day away and it seems to go buy so darn slow.

Re: four wheeler buddy has a 660 grizzly and I can run circles around it with my 600 sportmans polaris. Also have out pulled his 660 at a four wheeler pull with my 400 polaris explorer. the explorer is 10 years old and beat to heck but starts every time I use it. Nothing like buying a US made product.

Re: Does any body here decoy? I use a cheap renzos doe decoy. I works very well. Used it last year to shoot my 8 point that scored 153 3/8. Very pleased with it and plan on keep using it for years to come.
