Well went to cabelas it wasnt as packed as i thought it was going to be. Returned a couple things. But i got this hunting log thing you put your picture of the animal you killed in and write things. They binded upside down so all the pages are upside down. It was in the box so i didnt think about looking. So now i have to go back which thats not bad. lol

Re: first time goin out by myself... Its not the bad make sure to take a light. Pretty much everything is more scared of you than you are them but like rbfree1 said things can happen. But no worries you have a weapon use it if needed.

Re: Hoyt - what model Either one would do fine id go with around 60 or a little more you dont want it to be to heavy or it could cause problems. After sitting in stand you can get kinda stiff after a while ive had this happen last year. It stinks.
