Re: Your first deer I got my first deer with my bow. I had asked my uncle if i could use his climber and he didnt care so i took it. I had sat there for about 45 mins and here came this button buck im no dont shoot it but after watching it for 10 mins it had changed my mind. So i shot him at about 10 yards. Waited for about 30 mins then went to get my dad on the other side of the holler. Well my shot on the deer was a high and the first time we found it my dad thought it was dead and walked about 5 yards from it and it got up real slow and walked off. He laid his bow down already darn. Then we decided to let it go all night. And found it that morning after we were done hunting. Yotes had got it thought they might. Not a good way to get your first deer is it.

Re: Fun Times(pic) Looks fun. We didnt have a white christmas this year. This was the first year we have every been able to wear a t-shirt at christmas. And it sucked.

Re: Cold weather squirrel tips Listen for barks. So far this year thats how ive had all my luck. Last time i went which was two or three weeks ago i know a long time been busy deer hunting. It was snowing and i just watched the nest about 2 hours before dark and finally they always seem to make there way out of em. Got one cause i was able to get a good shot by moving while it was messin with a nut. Good luck.

Ive been trying to figure out how to hook up this digital camera to the computer and its been out smarting me every time. I think i might need to read the directions on this. I hate doing that.

Re: New Pack...Any Suggestions? Id go with a backpack. Fanny packs seem to always somehow come undone when im hunting and it stinks when that happens if youve had it happen. With the backpack you can carry all your stuff and it not fall off your back.

Re: a good draw weight#?? Set it low. Make sure you can pull it back with all your cloths on with it at that wieght. Good luck with your new bow.
