What do you guys use for lights while hunting coyotes? Do you use gun mounted lights,spotlights or something else? Any help and advice on how you use them will be great. Marc

I would say for out to 50 yds the 24" would be very sufficent. It would be even better with a good choke tube.

My 26" 835 has proven to be a real turkey thumper!

I will not go into the turkey woods without the following items: (1)Turkey Vest I use the Mossy Oak Elite 3D vest (2)My H.S. folding turkey seat (3)My 12'long by 27" high folding ground blind (4)My decoys (5) Two box calls, glass call ,slate call,4 strikers,crow call and 3 mouth calls. (6)Binos (7)Thermacell............Very Important!!!!!!! (8) and a partridge in a pear tree.

I have the Comp-N-Choke xxfull for my 26" 835 and I shoot #5's with very good success. 125 hits in a 10 inch circle at 40 yds but it will also cover the side of a barn at that distance so I'm going to try the xxx full so it will leave a few more feathers on a Turkey.

I agree with Oneida Man. They can be some of your best plots. With a little work you will have great rewards.

$3.33 here in N.N.Y.. It sucks but what can we do? I am paying around $500.00 a month here also just to heat my house. The way I see it between my wife and I we spend close to $1000.00 per month to get to and from work and stay warm.

How long will it be before you see a lever action rifle from Remington now that they are buying Marlin out? I would like 45-70 in a lever action Remington.

Use whatever you feel like using unless you want to keep the hide. I would suggest a .223,22-250,204. Keep it fast ,flat and small in diameter.

I would love to take the Drenalin out for a hunt but there is something about the big boom of my 835 that I love. I would have to say no again this year.
