  1. Its a good one. I just shot one yesterday. You have to keep it clean tho. The trigger pull seemed pretty stiff.
  2. Hey everyone. My friend gave me his inline to use this fall in ohio and I needed to sight it in today. It shot pretty well. It is a traditions Pursuit XLT inline with a nikon scope. Im not sure how to clean it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  3. I just purchased a Bear safe for my Cuddeback no-flash. I have been playin around with it for a while and I cant get the stinkin camera to fit into the bear safe. Does anyone have a solution for this or has had a similar experience? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  4. I dont know if he was legal last year. We have a 4 point on one side antler restriction.
  5. I probably will let him go, but the only thing is that Im almost 100% positive that he will get killed during the rifle season. That place gets hunted hard by rifle hunters especially the people that live on the bordering property.
  6. I got these two pictures of bucks the other day on my new trail cam. Came anyone help me score them? The first buck I was looking at is on the right standing broadside to the camera. I think he is an 8 point scoring maybe in the 120's. The second buck is another 8 point on the left walking towards the camera. I think he might gross P&Y but again im not sure. What do you guys think? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  7. I have played guitar for about 10 years
  8. Hey everyone. I live about 30 minutes south of Erie. I have been fishing for steelhead up there a couple of time but I still dont know when they run up the streams. Would there be any in the creeks right now? Also, are there rainbow and brown trout living in like Elk creek or Walnut creek? Any advice would be greatly apprecited. Thanks.
  9. Heard 7 on the roost. But little to no gobbling after flydown.

  11. Woodsman2230 I killed this bird this morning in Ashtabula county Ohio. 9 inch beard Spurs LEFT Right Spur
  12. Something similar happened to me yesterday as well. I was hunting publc land in a Ohiobut still this shouldnt happen. A guy comes walking by at about 20 yards and I wave to him. He looks over at me and walkes about 50 yards right behind my decoys between me and the gobbling birds. Then I started working a bird it went silent. Then suddenly the bird gobbles at about 60 yards and I can hear it spitting. When the bird gobbled I could see the guy that cut me off get up to move on the bird and spooked him. The hunter never made a peep all morning. He was letting me do all the work.
  13. Well as far as gobbling activity goes, this morning was unbelieveable. My camera man and I counted 13 different birds sounding off this morning. We got in early and set up. At about 5:15am a guy walked in, we waved to him, he looked at us and went directly between us and the gobbling birds and set up. Then a bird gobbled behind us and we started calling to it. He responded a couple times then shut up. 15 minutes later he gobbled again from about 55 yards and we could then hear him spitting and drumming and he was getting closer. All of a sudden we see the guy that set up in front of us moving to set up on the bird and he spooked him, we never got a chance to shoot. Its amazing the ignorance of some people that will do that to another hunter. Even if i wanted to I couldnt mess someones hunt up like that or even cut them off when I know that they are right there. I mean this guy was about 50 yards directly behind my decoys. If a bird came into my dekes I couldnt shoot cause that guy was in the way. Anyways, I will be going out again to Ohio on wednesday and friday, then again on sunday in hopes to nail a bird. The Pa season starts here on sat Apr 26. Hopefully I can tag one and get some points on the board for us.
  14. Im headed to Ohio tomorrow to start off my season. Its suppsed to be 66 degrees and sunny so it should be a good day.
  15. Congrats! I went out this morning and heard 7 sounding off on the roost and they were still hammering away on the ground. This evening I heard another 5 on a different property near my home. My PA season starts a week from saturday and I might be hunting monday in Ohio.
  16. Thats awesome! Great bird and a great story!
  17. Well, I just got word that I am the camera man for the Pennsylvania youth hunt this saturday. The guy who Co-founded my company and I are taking out a junior hunter. My buddy is friends with the boy's grandfather. He wants us to take his grandson out turkey hunting since he hasnt been hunting turkeys for a long time. Ive never met the boy or his grandfather but we have a great spot picked out for him. We have blind set up for him about 50 yards from where 6 longbeards are roosting every night. It is crazy in there. There are birds everywhere. I hope the gobblers put a show on for this little guy since its his first turkey hunt. Im sure it will be just as exciting for me as it will be for him even if im carrying a video camera instead of a gun. It will be nice warm up hunt for me since I start my season off in Ohio in a week. I hope to have a video clip of the little guy getting his first turkey up here saturday evening. Wish us luck!
