Re: New Mexico help I've never hunted Kit Carson NF, but I used to spend a lot of time fishing, hiking, and camping in the sections north of Eagles Nest (around the Pecos river and Red river areas) as well as the area due south of Taos and I saw a lot of turkeys there... I don't know which areas are open to hunting.... Im jealous..

I regularly put the shotgun smack down with 3 1/2" magnums - what I call real man loads - and enjoy it, not whine and complain about the recoil... Maybe Chris and I can set in the back as honorary members without voting rights and just make fun of all the frappuccino / late drinkers...
