well this is my second year using rifle and first using bow and i still havent had any luck. i saw a big spike in the begining of the season but didnt shoot it and ive seen tons of does ive tried calling and rattling and everything but just cant seem to get anything i want i saw this buck 2 days and never again did i see it or any other bucks i was just wondering if you had any tips or ideas like what are some good scent eliminators i heard the no scent and tink 69 work well and as far as calling i could use some help. now that bow season is almost over in new york i will be out saturday on opening day

i saw a nice spike yesterday it was a little far but ill be back out in the woods tomorrow wish me luck

Re: predator hunting i want to try to go all year id like more than one and its legal in new york to hunt them at night too which i want to do but now that school is ending soon ill be able to do so

how do you tan hides? what materials do you need? and anythign else necessary for doing it yourself. any help or tips would be appreciated

i want to know alot about predator hunting! i really want to take a red fox or any fox really bad. when is the best time to go for them? what is the best way for calling them in? howlers? preadotor calls? any hints tips or help would be very much appreciated

i didnt have much luck or time to go out this spring and the one time i did go out my decoys got screwed up and the jake i had coming in saw it and walked away oh well ill have to just wait till fall time im already excited

im planning on buying a muzzleloader this year and im just wondering what is a nice light or lighter than most and accurate muzzleloader?

Re: 1st year turkey hunter! i used the owl locator call i walked in the woods and called like 5 times and i had gobbles everywere i believe it was the primos true strut owl locator it works really well

i need to buy a bow this year and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on which bows i should look at.

Re: tips well thanks for the tips any more would be appreciated and we got a small jake called in and something happened to one of our decoys and it got messed up and folded and the way it was we couldnt tell and when it saw the decoy messed up it turned and walked away i would have had it if it came in 30 more feet but the hunt was fun and im going to be going back out this weekend and im going to try to get my calling better and ive been trying to use a mouth call but i cant get it to work real good. i can do the cluck and thats really it im hoping i can learn to do it better thanks again for the tips!

this will be my first year turkey hunting and im going out for the first time with my friend this sunday he knows very little about turkey hunting and i also know very little and i was just wondering if anyone had any tips for hunting turkeys? thanks
