  1. Re: Get on those white oaks in Pa! Sounds great. Good luck and the deer will find them when they start to fall
  2. Re: Cheap drugs at Wal-Mart?? Interesting. That could help a lot of people out
  3. Re: Hunting in the U.S Last until january. I hunt with a bow, muzzleloader and shotgun with slugs. We can't use riffles in Indiana, it's to flat. Not really needed either. My muzzleloader will shoot out to 250 yards and that's more than enough here. Most shots are inside of 150 yards. Bow shots are usually inside of 30 yards. It's mostly farm land and small woods plots here.
  4. Re: PC Game DeerHunter 2005 Thanks for the information. Nice rack on the bunny. Would that be a head mount or a european mount. Not sure.
  5. Re: Not my day I've been there. Hope the two of you are ok!
  6. Re: Hunting in the U.S No. We are about 10 days out. Starts on Oct. 1
  7. Re: PC Game DeerHunter 2005 Way to cool. I'm gonna have to get this game. Anyone have and extra one they would trade for and xbox big game hunting. Don't have an xbox anymore
  8. Re: USMC Chopper I only have one word for that. WOW
  9. Re: Fred Bear Bow Every thing I hear about that bow is good. field and stream said it was the best bow on the market for the money. Fast and quiet.
  10. Re: Hunting in the U.S Great Picture. Nothing but good in that.
  11. Re: Graffitti - again I agree with that. I hope you can get it under control. I've heard that's a nice city to live in
  12. Re: Game Cameras I did know you were over there though. I have read your post. Once you get back and you ever want to hunt Indiana bucks your welcome at my camp. Got some nice land to hunt and one of my hunting buddies is an ex marine. I'm sure you two could rib each other about a thing or two. Keep safe and good luck
  13. Re: Game Cameras Sorry about that. I forgot you were over there. Good luck and post us a picture if you get to arrow something.
  14. Re: Hunting in the U.S In Indiana as long as you keep buying the tags you can shoot about 200 does. You can shoot one buck. some states have a buck a day limit throughout their season. Same with Turkey. Each state is different. Most states have very good bag limits. It really is a great country to hunt in.
  15. Re: Watching Monster Bucks XIV Volume 1. Good story telling and back ground really help. It's important to me to make the hunt seem real. Not just going out and scoring a 200 class deer and saying I sure did make a good shot. I like hearing how they got to that point
  16. Re: Single..and loving it..... I've been single for a about 6 years now. There are several things I miss about being married and some things I don't. I do miss the companionship. About four years ago I adopted a 9 month old little boy and I became a much happier person. He gave me new eyes on how to see the world and now that his is four and starting to become more of a little boy it's even better. Next year he is going to start sitting with me on a few hunting trips.

    It is

Re: It is sunny and cool here. Going to rain starting maybe Friday. Been cool all week
  18. Re: PC Game DeerHunter 2005 Thanks moon. That's good information. I'll look for it
  19. Re: Game Cameras Stay tuned in here. There have been a lot of them for sale. You might check your local Wallmart too. They have had some Moultrie's on sale. You might also look on Archery Talk. They have about eveything in they're classifieds. I went over there and got lost.
  20. Re: blue steel barrel vs stainless steel That's kind of what I thought. I have some old guns with a blued barrel and they are fine to clean too. I've even got an old Remington 22 with a nickle plated barrel. My all time favorite gun. Had it 36 years and it still looks great.
  21. Re: Hunting in the U.S That's just not right. Why would bow hunting be outlawed. If that ever happens here I will find a new place to live. maybe I'll go north to our brothers up there.

    Redhead?

Re: Redhead? Tha''s kind of funny. Hoyt makes Reflex which makes Readhead. So technically Hoyt makes Readhead I guess. Kidding aside, they are good bows. I shot a Readhead last year and liked it but now enough to pay that much for it. The new ones are fast though
  23. Re: Acorns???? I don't know. Sounds fuzzy to me. Just kidding. That's an all day stand site. Bring a lunch and stay all day. You'll spend your evening dragging out a deer
  24. Re: ethics question I would probably take her this time of year. I just read an article in one of the magazines that listed a study that fawn bucks that are orphaned because of hunting or whatever are very much more likely to stay in that area as they grow up. The article didn't know for sure why but said that the numbers showed those bucks didn't leave that home range. fawns are a one to one ratio so if you shoot that doe and the fawn is a buck you may be assuring you get another buck to stay on the property
  25. Re: Scentblocker Roadtrips Never thought about it before now but it is true.
