I love my .243 It puts them down use a 95gr NBT have not had a track job over 5 yards yet! lol

I love Federal In my oppion it is the best factory ammo out there I love it and deff will continue to use it no matter the price!!It's worth it!!! though I will admit that I never used the fusion.But For deer I shoot A Vital-Shok In 95Gr. NBT out of my 243.win and Power-Shok in 150Gr.BTSP out of my 30-06.spgfld. and the both do a number on deer They never go far.I shot a Buck with my 243. at 65yards this year and it took two steps the bullet distoyred both lungs and the top of the heart and I watched my uncle shoot a doe with the 30-06 at about 100 yards and it fell where it stood and had nothing to be found of the lungs not to mention a scary large exit wound.just my $.02 BTW what is the Price of ammo up there? is it like doubble the price or somthing??

I have a buck 112 ranger its slightly smaller then the 110 and I love it! It holds a great edge I got It because It's what my dad has lol and everone wants to be like there dad right?? lol He has use It for about 30 years now and I dont think he ever plans on changing and neither do I.

What part of PA? I hunt in Lycoming county and Man I think PA's turning into a sleeper state for big whitetails I'v been seeing real good deer the past two years antler restrictions seem to be working!

The same thing happened to me three weeks ago it really sucks!!!!! By the way you discribe the way that the arrow and blood trail looked it sounds like you hit her in the brisket and if thats the case then theres a 95% chance that she'll be just fine. Good luck with the rest of you're season

Im expecting the pre rut to kick off the end of this week early next week the deer will probley be chaseing the last week of oct &-or the first week of november then it will slow down the last week of the season but you never know the big boy might be chasen that week its hard to tell excatley but that should give you a rough outline. Man I had the same problem yesterday took the muzzleloader out and had 4point a 6point and 130-140in. 10point stop 20 yards away broadside I was really suprised that the buck are still running togeather Idk but I'll be going back to that spot tommrow with my bow for shure. good luck with the rest of your season.

Well it’s getting down to right before the season and turns out I ran out of money and I still need 1/2doz. arrows and broadheads. So it time to start selling things. First: I have a Carolina archery products Camo Whisker Biscuit Original QS that I'm trying to get $30TYD for. I only shot about 15 arrows through it. Second: I have A pair of Limbsaver Ultra's in black for all split limb bows including Hoyt again I had these on my bow for about 15 shots. I also have and extra one I'll send along with the pair. I reload Its tons of fun and gives you an even deeper sense of pride when you get something with a shell you reloaded. Its tons of fun, but you deff. need to take it seriously because a little mistake can kill you.

If I plan on sitting awhile I will take an issue of "PA Game News" because they are small and I can slip it right in to my pocket very quietly if I see or hear something. I'm thinking of adding yahtzee to my all day sit anti boredom arsenal this year just to mix it up.
