Re: My New Gun (soon) My dad has a pursuit and loves it very accurate hasent had the chance at a deer I have to get him to put the fintlock down once and give the inline a try lol. My Jr. hunting days here in PA. have come to an end so i also plan on gettin a pursuit befor next season. Good luck with your wind river mag. let me know how u like it. First Deer was a doe shot it when i was 12 with my 243.win afternoon of opening day we wont talk about the 2 i missed in the morning took awhile to get rid of those jitters.(lol) Shot my first buck At 13 was an 8pt. and first deer with a bow was a doe when i was 14. I'd post pics but dont know how

Re: arrow wraps Thanks for the info guys I was a lil woried when I went to the Ez crest website and it said $18 i thought that was price each thanks for the help

I was looking at EZ Crest arrow wraps and like them alot but are they really $18 for one wrap that seams really expensive to me im going throuh a lil sticker shock right now cuz i really want to wrap my arrows but i'm not looken to spend that kind of money

Dont get me wrong i still see lots of deer I however feel that the seasons and tag distrobution is the problem here there needs to be more effort put forth to study the doe heard state wide. But to the original point this is America and they have a right to be there if the want and who said that its false infromation thats the opinion they have just like u have an opinion the all differ you shouldent down play someone elses knowledge just because u feel its un-true unless u have hard evidence that they are wrong leave them be this is only my opinion that from it what u will and where are u from in PA?

Dude no offence but idk where you are in Pa but im guessing not around here because our doe heard is way out of "wack" Tags dont make it where they should be and the way it is right now i dont think we sould even be able to kill does next year the doe and buck season should have never been combined i feel it was a real dumb move on the PAGC's part now dont get me wrong i am a strong beleaver in the antler restrictions and have seen what they can do if they could only find a better way to manage the doe heard (P.S you will be old someday just like those guys and still want to hunt and harvest deer so please take it easy if u stop and listen to them u may learn somthing they have been at it a lot loger then you)

Re: how far wiill a slug kill a deer? I dont know about the sight but i would say the most u want to shoot is 100 yards just my 2 cents and depends what kind of slug u are using also

Re: Broadhead Grains? i shoot 100gr. but thats just my choice i like 100gr. because they are not as hevy but still have a little more "knock down power" then 75gr. but its all in what feels right to u and flies well from ur setup so experiment some to find out what u like the best

Re: Weird Ears idk either but the other day my dad saw a doe with her whole one ear missing and all the white hair thats nornaly inside it was like a big poof on the side of her head trying to geet a pic of her its weird BTW might have got cought in a barbd wire fence if the have a split in the ear

Re: Pa hunters Hey guys thanks for all the replies and sorry about the spelling it was late and i was mad lol And we looked in to DMAP the only problem is that if u applie and are excepted for this u have to open it to public hunting so that a person can call and ask for a place in lycoming county to hunt DMAP and the state would give the person our name and we would have to let them hunt it. btw got some nice trail cam pics of bucks try to post en next week sometime got to find out how to resize lol thanks again for the help.

Im 15 and live in Pa where i hunt here on our peice of property there are lots of deer and we need to thin the heard a lil of does but the is not posable because around 85% of the ppl we hunt with could not get a doe tag and we all c doe just about ever time we go out i hunt in manegment area 2G whitch is to brod of an area i feel because there is lots of state game lands so the state feels that sence there are no deer in the game areas that there are no deer in genneral which is wrong i just dont understand y they dont care about manegment like they say there will be ppl that get these tags that will not c a deer all season and i c 20 manegment does a night idk I would like to know what every 1 else thinks and if u hunt pa Which managment unit? sry really need to get this off my chest ((P.S not to mention the fact it took two weeks from the date they ran out till i got my aplication bk its insaine))

Im looking into shrink fletch's with Blazer vanes but i would like to know about shrink fletch in genneral Has any1 every used them or know some1 who has used them if u have i would like to know what u think thanks
