Well I made the mistake of takeing my bow to get tuned up last night and while I was there I shot A new Hoyt Avenger and to make a long story short I'll Be going back sometime next week to pick it up I'm super pumped. When I get it I'll try to get some pictures up for you guys.

The Gleb Del buck is not the cheapest deal but it will last way longer then anything else and the arrow removal is so much easier. The normal size Glen Del is not that much more expensive in comparison to some only a few bucks more in my option they are well worth the money.

I dont know I might let him walk I cant tell for shure but he doesent really look that old he could be bigger next year or he could go to the next property over and get shot tuff dession!!

I just got one a couple weeks ago and so far I love it and have no complaints.

The easier way to mount a turky fan is to pluck all the secondary feathers and put them to the side then pluck out the primary feathers 1 by 1 and number them as you go along then cut an arch of plywood and drill a small hole at the top u then lay the primary feathers out in numerical order and glue them down. There will be a small open spot to glue the beard at the bottom center you then use the secoundary fethers from largest to smallest to cover the primarys quills and thats it ur done. I've done both ways and in my oppion this way is much easier but it up to you i was just tring to give u anouther option

I know how u feel man same thing happened to me last year but never found him so i still have a glimmer of hope he made it. We trailed him with fairly good blood for over 200 yards and it just stoped. We went throug the thinkest stuff we could find and all the ditches and streams for 2 days looked foe buzzereds to clue us in but notting its hard but it happens to the best.Good luck this year

Yeah im looken to give the .22 a work out this year. I even have a goal I really want to shoot a black squirrel and mount it myself I think they look really good mounted on a vertical log.

Yeah you are right it does sound scripted. Doesent seam like him self but the man does have alot on his plate thease days. he's on like 4 different tv shows. Not to mention everything else he does.

a lock-on or climber are a good bet for a treestand if ur comfortable with them the are very light weight and portable and if you find other places to hunt in the future it will be easyer to move a lock-on or climber then a lader stand. Try to try out some stands of ur buddys if they have any and find out what ur comfortable with. Alot of thing in archery are trial and error nothing works the same for every1. Good Luck

I would look into the rifled slug barrel my dad has a 500 and when he got it it came with a cantiever rifled barrel and a vent rib and two different cheek pices to give you the right eye releafe. He has killed tons of deer in NY with it and a bunch of turkeys here in PA and I used it to take my first turkey a few years ago love the gun its a great shooter cant go rong for the price. Be as quiet and scent free as you can. If you can have more then one stand site mix it up dont over sit one area. Once you get to your stand stay put as long as you can and you should stay in your stand all day during the rut. I have had very good luck calling to deer a very good call to start out with is "The Can" By Primos its super easy to use and wont kill your wallet. A really good investment is trail cam's they help out alot in scouting where to put stands. You could also try atracktents such as "Tinks- #69 or James Valley scents- Full rut" the scents and calling will work the best right before or durring the rut. I was wondering if anyone has used these i was thinking of useing them instead of blazers this year I would like to know how they compare to blazers and if its worth it to try them out.

They make a paintball one to I saw them in Bowhunting World. I've never seen em on a hunting show tho i would like to just to see how they work
