I don't have the time to go into great detail, and look back for the link to the research right now, but Mississippi State recently did a study where they followed bucks throughout their first 4 years to check on the racks... mainly to prove that the old "once a spike always a spike" quote is not true. On the basis of their study, that buck is by no means a cull. When I get a chance, I'll get the link for you William.

This year has been the first "bad" year for me in a while. Lost one and have missed two this year, after 3-4 years of being nearly perfect. Just keep practicing and working at it, good luck in Kansas!

.... as we lost a good one on Monday. I'm not sure how to put it, so I'll use this short article: November 2nd, 2010, Mississippi State defensive end Nick Bell lost a sudden and unexpected battle with cancer. Bell, who started four games in the 2010 season, had an abrupt turn of events with a diagnosis of cancer. Just two weeks ago, Nick, recovering from brain surgery, returned to the sidelines to be with his teammates during the UAB game. Rest In Peace Nick, you will be a Bulldog forever. Nick played his last game 5 weeks ago versus Georgia. Here's a short video in memory of him.... Nick is #36:

I'd give it about a 99% chance he hit him there.

No corn on ground here... Its complicated, but in short: Feed must be in a feeder(something containing it) and hunters must be at least 100 yards away and not be in sight of the feeder. Also must be 100 yards from a property line. Feed must be at least 15% protein in October and November, Corn is legal in December and January.

I'm looking for one that's 4.5 yrs old... Bow hunting I try to hold for 115 and gun 125 but it just really depends on the deer.
