I'm using a remington 870 super mag turkey with a mad max choke tube.One of the guys I hunt with got a mossberg 835 deer/turkey combo for christmas,Nice set up.

I don't use my bow much during turkey season,But I set it up with grim reaper mechanical broadheads.

For the most part my gear is in good shape,I'm going to pick up a box of shells and a new diaphram call in the next couple of weeks.

I have two, a cobra extreme I've had for ten years and a open shot deluxe I got last year, I've had no trouble with them to date and they get a lot of use.

Our deer season ends this weekend, I have two spots to clear shooting lanes in for the 2010 season and a couple of loads I'm working on for one of my rifles if I draw tags for out west this year.

The current issue of guns n ammo did a review of it.I hope to read up on it later this week.

I do 4 to 5 hrs of cardio a week,stairmaster and elyptical machines and some free weight training.

I sent my stuff in for Montana already and waiting for my Colorado book to arrive to put in for preference points.

I clean mine after every session.

Great pics texastrophies! I stopped yesterday and picked up some 150 gr Nosler ballistic tips and 150 gr Sierra Gamekings to try out at the range.

I just put in for a Montana deer tag for the 2010 season and was wondering what weight bullet you use?I have a load worked up for my 280 Rem with a 140 gr sierra gameking at 2840 fps and feel this is plenty to get the job done,But I'm thinking about working up a load with a 150 gr gameking for extra measure.

I hope to never see that again (LOL)

I use a 280 Reminton barrel on my Encore, I'd look at a 7mm-08 or a 7mm mag.

100 gr of blackhorn 209 with a 250 gr hornady sst low drag sabot.

I prctice out to 45 yards, but the majority of my shots are 30 yards or less.
