  1. My brother swears by it. I for years used the same old method, MAINLY, because of the $'s for the outfits. One thing to keep in mind, off season closeouts. I came across base layers for 29.95 each back last spring, so I figured I'd give them a try. Hopefully soon! Good Luck !

  5. I'm all dialed in & ready to go! Will wait until I get back from NF moose hunt (oct 19), plus, I hold out for cooler weather. Our season opens Oct 1.
  6. Probably both-mostly to put food on the table AND, getting out in the outdoors to get away from the hustle/bustle of society.
  7. Hey !! GOOD LUCK,,,,,have fun,,,,,be careful!!
  8. Pretty neat !! When I was on the High School golf team, had one guy tee off and took out a black bird (it was on the ground).

  12. Hey fellow Hoosiers !! I'm here in the NW corner (1/2 way between Chi & Indy), seeing deer. But I'm old fashion, like a father expecting a newborn child, you don't know for sure until it's in front of you. I was thinking the other day about the deer in the southern part of the state where they had the problem last season, anyone heard anything on how their herds are?
  13. YEE HAW !!!! Congrats buckee !!
  14. Welcome to the board !! (Don't ya shoot anything bigger than a 30-30?)
  15. Good idea, I'd let Remington know what you have found also. That could be a real dangerous situation if someone else has the same incident and don't know how to handle it.
  16. Hey strut, to bad nobody thinks about sending it to a alternate address when they know they won't be home. I have never had any problems & I've done ALOT of business using UPS (racing componants, hunting stuff, rifles, ammo, etc). Hint-when ordering, there's an area for billing address, and one for shipping to (other than billing).
  17. Bought NAP Thunderhead blades from rhine16, it was a pleasure doing business with him. He gets a +!!
  18. Hey guys, I'm not fond of snakes either, but remember, they are only doing what we are doing = Hunting to survive.
  19. I went to the QAD Ultrarest HD and really like it. It was easy to install, easy to adjust, and easy to fine tune. I was impressed with the information on their web-site. Good Luck !
  20. I have the Treestalker harness also, the Pro series nice, but if you don't need the extra pockets (I use a fanny or small backpack), go with the Treestalker ($wise).
  21. Wish me luck, had a nitch for awhile to do hunts just for challenged hunters (deer, turkey). Have spent the past couple days doing exploritory work=land, housing, equipment, etc. I just hope I can get it off the ground.
  22. I have a Bear Team Realtree Extreme, nice bow, shoots good, don't have any complaints. Just installed a Quality Archery Design Ultra-Rest HD bout 4 weeks ago, it has really improved my accuracy.
  23. I think you're going to really enjoy shooting the 44mag. Have FUN !
