i usually try to do some afternoon drives in late july and august to see if i can spot any deer in fields. when i find a field they frequent...i look for the woods that im guess they stay in. then i try to find who owns the land and ask for permission.

i have seen a few hit deer around here. almost hit a buck the other night with the GF's car. for all those people out there that say that there are no deer in PA anymore...thats because they are all on the road dead. 15 in williamsport is noturious for dead deer espcially around allenwood prison.

im gonna hop on the wagon and say bobcat also.

im really itching to make one of these...im just so afraid that im going to build it and and watch it disapear.

i would put the camera up high. bears dont like little boxs on trees. they like to hit them with their paws.

i am also agreeing here...the first is over sharpened. to much detail. the second pic as great detail but that nice soft feeling.

i am not a fan of daytime IR pics but i love their night pictures. its such a hard choice.

im going to say that both are deer tracts. but hey anything is possible.

it seems every year the deer dissapear for like a month or so...right now the deer are coming out of that cycle and are starting to show up in the fields agian. scouting time soon!!

you will love the Viper....my favorite stand for all day sits...its so comfy

those arrows look great. i wouldnt want to shoot tight groups and ruin them.

sight lights are great for indoor practice or 3d shooting but i dont use them for hunting. my fiber optic pins create enough light for me. if i cant see what im shooting at or my pins then i shouldnt be shooting. you will have to get the light for your paticular sight though. that even if your sight accepts a light.

i had a friend who went out with a few buddies to Kansas for some deer hunting. after being turned down by every house for miles and miles they came across a gentelman that said "what are you trying to hunt?" my friends said "deer with our bow."....the land owner said "thats your problem right there. everyone you asked assumed you were phesant hunters and thats why they turned you down." so the moral of the story is that there is plenty of farms to be hunted out there....just stress that your archery hunting deer.

i would suggest going with a good pair of rubber boots. i also believe you should go and try them on first. i ordered a pair of rubber boots and they fit horrible but are scent free. Alpha Burlys will be my next boot purchase.
