Not sure I've ever seen them. They resemble gooseberries - or at least that was a friend's dad called them back in high school. He had a few bushes and they were about that color. Never tried one.

Inexcusable... but this shouldn't reflect on every police officer. They are human beings just like everyone of us here. That means there are a lot of good people in the police force. That also means there are a lot of jerks (or worse) and those that don't think. How many times do you hear about the good the vast majority of them do everyday because its their job. They don't get credit for that unless its something extremely heroic. My hats of to police in general. Let's not fry the police for one idiots actions... should we let gun owners take the rap for the bad guys who commit crimes with guns?

DITTO THAT! Man, I'm north of ya and we've had mid to upper 80's for over a week during the day. 90's a few times. The upside is there has been a few days were it dipped down into the mid 50's at night - brings some relief. Still miserable during the day.

Congrats Ruth! Sounds like it was a very rewarding summer. My wife can't WAIT until she can start nursing school. Sounds like you're another great example of how some hard work can really pay off if you're willing. Wish more people understood that. Congrats again!
